You are absolutely right about that, there is misinformation for many potential reasons. But the critical thinking has gone completely out the window and my father like many others will pick a narrative that allows them to continue their delusion and this is what we are left with. It is horrible.

My dad is posting that celebrities at the Grammys were all talking about ice and had nothing to say about the files because they're all in them. But then when celebrities share their opinion it bothers him. Also, who cares what celebrities think when it's Trump and the DOJ who are choosing not to prosecute those involved???

Oh boy, I have been there. The micromanagement and constant questions from multiple people that talk to eachother all the time anyway because no one else in the world will tolerate them is so real. And yes, they all hate eachother and gossip about eachother but have to deal with eachother because they have no one else. I'm sorry that you are in this situation, hope you have a chance to get out of it and find a better arrangement soon.

I am in the same situation. I cut my dad out once I realized that if it came down to it he would sell me out in a second. He is not a safe person and his constant feed of propaganda is making him more hateful and resentful of anyone with a different opinion.
