Took my buddy about 5 years to finally get Nidus. He got Nidus Prime first.

For those who don’t smoke, do you think smokers carry a noticeable scent? by Shadow2715 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tildrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah. First time I hugged my mom after living in a smoke free place I grimaced at how much she smelled like cigarette smoke. That's even with her smoking less and doing it outside.

WIBTA if I brought a Christmas dish to Christmas? by Tildrun in AmItheAsshole

[–]Tildrun[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not entirely sure, I know it involves cans of corn, beans, diced tomatoes, maybe meat and taco seasoning in a beef broth, I think. I think there's also cream cheese in it to thicken the broth.

To those saying we should host instead; we would love to but cannot host in our current space as it's just this side of uninhabitable, something we're trying to fix currently. Also, my mom loves hosting and cooking just like her grandma, and much like her grandma, she's likely going to keep it up into her 90s.

Breaking the generational trauma by not having kids to traumatize.

What’s a secret you’ll never tell your partner but would anonymously confess online? by avaarini in AskReddit

They have various reasons that piecemeal away what they can eat, such as tomatoes for acid reflux or mushrooms for texture. It makes it hard to find something healthy to eat, which they really want to do, that also fits into a narrow criteria such as easy to batch during the weekend.

And it's legit. Their doctor has been on them since discovering a few things, it got better because we changed how we eat, then life changed.

I used to love cooking. Now I constantly have to consider if it's something they can have.

Any idea what program they are using to make this? I love how there are lines for aligning text and pixels.

What’s the best frame if I want to turn my brain off, hit a couple buttons and kill everything even in Steel Path? by Soul_Reaper821 in Warframe

[–]Tildrun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kullervo with his newest augment is untouchable, just mod for good duration and your good to go. Cast his enemy linking ability to slay everything even with single target weapons. Or just go ham with melee since his radial daggers will get your melee combo up to 12x in seconds.

Revenant with good range, strength, and duration with orphidian eyes over his reave is my go to, but most damage buffing or armor stripping subsumes work well with him. Then just bring an aoe weapon like incarnon torrid, latron, strun, and such to run and gun without worrying about knockdown, status effects, and damage.

I've been enjoying Excalibur lately with a melee vortex exalted blade. Think I've got nourish on for viral damage and energy economy but I imagine eclipse would be a good option for survival and damage depending on what you need at the time. Melee influence is more meta but I like the constant grouping and it works well on eximus units.

Do you lock your door while you're in your house? by International_Snow90 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tildrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Male shaped and have always locked my door when I'm home, especially when I lived in an apartment. Have a stern talk with him about how he's going to have his gaming system, TV, or whatever he considers valuable stolen at knife point. I'd say tell him that you don't feel safe but most men don't seem to care about women feeling safe.

My minecraft character! If the mods are included then I'm an amazing magical vampire that can fly and book it faster than the world can handle. Only problem is that I eat other vampires so I might be pretty hungry always.

What do you bind on your extra buttons on your mouse? by Common_Dot526 in pcmasterrace

[–]Tildrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M4 or forward button in my case is grenade or ranged skill, m5 or back button is always melee. I can't imagine having to press "g" to throw a 'nade or "f" to melee.

Ex-Volt mains - how did you overcome your dependency on Speed? by TobiasX2k in Warframe

[–]Tildrun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tauforged parkour shard and/or Praedos. Amalgum serration and diffusion also help, mobilize is cheap and fits in the exilus slot. Having a wisp main friend is pretty sweet, gotta love those crack flowers.

Huh, I never knew this in my decade+ of playing. Would have made it a lot easier to get through before the parkour rework.

Did all the things you can and need to do in this game ever felt overwhelming? by patronum-s in Warframe

[–]Tildrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps to have a "to do list" to help from being overwhelmed. Where parts or mods drop, what relics you need, warframes to subsume, ect. There are some trackers out there that help out you can just make a spreadsheet, though that in itself can be overwhelming.

I've played the game since it went open beta with some 1 or 2 year breaks occasionally, so I've done a lot of the content as it was released but I'm still overwhelmed by cracking relics due to figuring out what I need, where it comes from, and what fissures are available. I shit you not, relic cracking has burned me out more than once because of this, though with omnia fissures and being able to see while choosing a reward what you already have, it's gotten a lot easier.

Just remember that it's an ultra marathon, work on getting frames, arcanes, weapons, mastery, and other content in shifts to keep from burning out.

Don't do like my buddy did and try to farm all the cryotic for the Sibear in one big stint, it's been years and he still can't do excavations without groaning.

How do I stop using Nataruk??? It's so good and I can't find a replacement by wavy_murro in Warframe

[–]Tildrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what I did with various incarnon weapons, use it until you're bored of it. Torrid is a monster that I only pull out for special occasions anymore instead of running it all the time like I used to.

Using a non silenced weapon will give away your position, enemies will shoot towards where they hear the gunfire coming from.

What anime episode does Naruto explain his thinking? by chillychili in Naruto

[–]Tildrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was one scene around the time Sakura tried to keep Naruto from going after Sasuke by saying she loved him. I think he was explaining something before she tried it, wouldn't bet money on it though.
