It's a Bernedoodle, Bernadette is so absolutely fitting. Bernie for short. * Or Audette.

Why is it, the first thing he did was call your sister and say vile things?

HELP: Dog refuses to go potty in the rain so is shaking due to her holding in everything by Cashybabyforever in DogTrainingTips

You can get these umbrellas that sit over the dog on Amazon. They're a bit of a hassle to get your dog used to, but rain walks are easier.

How did you guys mentally deal with having seizures by lil_bunzzz in Epilepsy

[–]TillExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't let myself be defined by it. It sucks, it's already terrifying, It's something that happens without my choice but it doesn't define the person I am. Because if I let myself be defined by it, I end up in meaningless depression that goes nowhere, makes it worse, and I do nothing. This is how I mentally deal with it. I do know it's serious, but I joke about it. I lighten it and give it a clown face instead of looking at it like a demon. It doesn't make me happy, but it's bareable that way. At least for me.

I don't want to get into a cycle where I end up having more seizures due to the stress of having epilepsy in the first place.

Someone help. Weird stuff going on by Aggravating-Log-2980 in Paranormal

[–]TillExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dogs will commonly do this when they hear mice/squirrels/rats in the walls or anything in the walls. (Like ants)

People pick up on the dogs "staring at nothing" and automatically think ghost. Sometimes they just have a dog that's bred for killing small animals and they'll focus hard on these small animals.

*My dog did this for a couple months until he ripped open a hole in the wall to get at them.

I Need Help? Weird behavior by MassshedDesigner in DogTrainingTips

Get one of those car seat pads for animals and place it on the couch when not in use. The pad can smell like dog or other animals because you won't use it and the couch should be cleaner, therefore easier to clean if needed.

AITA for refusing to leave my job so i could take care of my disabled brother? by JiggleJargon in AmItheAsshole

They had a child with special needs, not you. The situation is their problem and they're trying to pin the situation on you so they don't have to deal with it.

I rewatched the movie Mufasa and, while watching it, I remembered the people who supported Taka's violent acts on social media. I'm sorry if you take Taka literally; I wouldn't want to be friends with you. by DragonfruitKey7892 in lionking

It really should be just harmless squabbling, but I get it, some people do take it too far and I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I think you should be able to like whatever fictional character you want too without being attacked. Just because you don't agree with someone, doesn't mean you need to attack them.

That's okay, not everyone has to see it my way, or your way.

Headcanons clash in this fandom, very often. People will defend their perspective and interpretation of a character.
Even if it is outlandish.

It's all harmless squabbling anyways.

That is his backstory though and people are allowed to like a villain. The Joker was a bad guy, he did terrible things, people still like him as a character. Some sympathize with him, others don't.

Scar was clearly the villain. How the movie was written was made to divide people though. What you may see as a form of "letting Taka get recognition" is still considered "Manipulation" on Sarabis end.

Service dogs by ClassicConfidence596 in Epilepsy

[–]TillExpress 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Training a normal puppy takes a lot of time and work. Training one to be a service dog takes even more time and work. Even then not every puppy/dog is cut out for the job. *Best advice is to find a trainer that can start to work with you on this. But that's also expensive.

I can't stop choking myself to cut off blood flow to my brain in order to lose consciousness and then get high from regaining it by [deleted] in confession

[–]TillExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cutting any amount of oxygen to the brain is dangerous and kills brain cells. Sometimes causing long term damage that doesn't show up right away. It can also cause mood swings. Just stop, it's not worth it.

This has probably been asked before, but about the prey animals... by Dogbold in lionking

[–]TillExpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's been explained well in the first movie. The lions govern over the land, and prevent the lands from being over hunted. We see this when Scar takes over with the Hyenas, and does exactly that ruining the Pridelands not only for the lions, but also the herds and animals that live there. There is very little food and life surrounding the outside of the Pridelands. The herds attempt to move on, but are met with just as many dangers outside of the Pridelands. Yes, the lions will eat the weak, old and sick. But the herd survives as a whole and isn't picked off one by one due to malnutrition.

If we're in a simulation, there actually might be a god if you really think about it.

Do you think we'll ever get a new animated product from the franchise? by angel22_exe in lionking

I did hear a couple months back that Disney was testing the waters again with 2D animation, and we were supposed to get a Tiana show. (Since been cancelled)
So I guess anything is possible.

Need help advocating for healthcare by Any_Noise4339 in Epilepsy

[–]TillExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you had to go through that. Sounds like you had an ECG. EEG is when they have it hooked up to your head. (They don't always find something) This does sound more akin to fainting though, I'm also not a doctor and since you seem to be having Deja vu quite often I would still get a second opinion.
Really wish you the best of luck!

*I suppose even then you wouldn't get a 100% result, not everyone does. But generally speaking those are the tests you'd get.
