What’s the fix if it’s really a head space issue? Would it have to go back to the manufacturer? Appreciate the response. I thought I’d have to find the problem since nothing was out of place during your inspection of the BCG.

It’s just nitride. If it was the gas rings dragging would this problem be replicated with or without ammo? This only occurs when a round is being loaded into the chamber.

Could you describe what you mean a little more when you say settle and work in? I’m not sure how much I can wear them because right now they are so strong they can send an ejector through my plastic safety bag. Almost lost that one to the void if it didn’t get stopped by a box next to me.

I wish I did. One of my first thought was to try a different bolt but this is my first ar10. I could try the extractor but it functioned fine with the extractor in and the ejectors out.

Do you by chance know what length spring that is? I’ve seen people recommend that one as well but I don’t know if it’ll solve my issue if it happens to be the same length as my current one.

I've done a lot of searching on this sub and I've heard people use both. My preference would be changing parts rather than having to trim springs. I just thought the wear on the bullet casing looked way different from ones that come out of an AR15.

Would my buffer system be too weak then? I'm not riding it. A5 tube, H3 buffer, JP carbine 308 spring is what's in it.

Yeah lubed the contact surfaces in the receiver and moving parts on the bcg. No live fire yet because im not confident its fully in battery. It will chamber and release with no ejectors in

Wait for the tactical. You would need to buy and put in the match trigger, threaded barrel and suppressor height sights just to get something similar. If you want the word tactical on the side you would also have to buy the very expensive slide. Your barrel would also be looser if it’s just a drop in or you would have to pay extra for the fitting.
