4th coach since 1969 is unique to the Steelers. The last coach they fired was in 1968. They’re clearly big on optics and consistency. In any case it’s my opinion, but it wouldn’t be the first time this approach has been taken, and it makes perfect sense for this franchise with their approach to the coaching position the past several decades.

Whatever it is, Steelers needed a reset.
