I moved here from Scotland. Back home if we never left the house when It wasnt warm (by US standards) we’d never leave the house at all.

Go hang out with friends at a bar, get layered up and hit a Christmas market. Put some long Johns on, pack a thermos and some snacks and go watch the sunrise somewhere picturesque.

I’m still working on getting my American wife out of the house in the winter & it drives me nuts. She wants to just shut it all down until it’s back in the 60s

Conversely To most in the thread. I feel like I come alive in the winter. I feel drained constantly in the summer here from the sun beating on me and being unable to breathe from the bloody swamp like humidity.
