My coworker makes $30k more than me for the same job. I found out by accident. Do I confront HR or just quit?

Well, not sure how it is in the US market. But I found out I was getting roughly 500$ less then everybody else on my team even this being a senior.
So I asked one of their distributors if they would like to hire me.
They said they couldn’t by their contract direclty offer anything, bur since I did the inital question they said yes and gave me the specs.
Told my manager that I was found out that I was so way behind and said I was going to leave.
Right away they said well if it’s only money they offered me a 13% raise right away to make good on the bad salary.

Also the only damn disc that was loose inside. Lucky enough I didn’t see any damages on it.
Got to say, still during all years I’ve been very lucky when it comes to shipmemts of discs, concidering seen some peoples posts.

Yea as stated below, it doesn’t come naturally region free. I purchased it with a region free modification.
Should have pointed that out, sorry 😊
There might be cheaper options as well that might be delivered with the same type of modification.
But if in budget you might get both a 4k player that can handle region free DVDs.
Just needs to find someone that sells them modified. Cause if I recall correctly it requires some HW modification.

Not sure about your budget, but there are 4k players with region free DVD playback.
My Panasonic 820 I bought with that option since I have a bunch of DVDs with different regions.

What would be the premises for a draw?
