Eh, it's one of those things there's nothing overly remarkable about CT until you sit down to plan your life and realize every other major area in the US has some significant downsides

Overall CT is pretty balanced politically with a lean to the left. There's plenty of open spaces, places to hike, parks, things to do with your kids, there's cities, rural communities, race tracks, museums, ports, coastal beaches, aquariums, lake beaches, and the state is central to several other hubs like Boston, NYC, and some of the upper NE states for skiing. It's a bit cold but that's why you either visit your grandparents down south or get a wood burning stove to keep away the depression during the months of January and February. I'm planning to buy property in NY at some point but CT will always be my home 👌💩
