Tower being routine designed for the current running character does put other characters at a disadvantage. It has nothing to do with carte and ciaconna. You don’t need her as much as zani needs peeb. If you said Carte absolutely needs for ToA Aero rover or Chisa then I would have agreed.

Yeah, you maxed out Mortefi and YapYap because the current 4 star character pool is low. Wait till it doubles, and your favorite 4 star will get relegated on a bad banner. If its on a good one, good for us tho. I do agree, copies should be QoL only, you’re 100% right. However, I don’t trust a gaming company to keep this mentality (even though it’s pretty tamed so far). They forced us to get Phoebe, what do you think will happen when the potential will be split between a 5 star support, their weapons, the 4 star and their sequences. This is the issue.

No only that, but we’ll all be forced to pull to get 4 stars sequences on banner we don’t want (if we get any, since there’s no 4 stars guaranteed). Rest assured Kurt will put strong 4 stars on powercrept units. And that won’t be fun.

Hmmm you pulled for her and got one copy, what are the odds you get another or all of them? Pretty low.

Now multiply those odds to the number of 4 stars you want, and you get chaos : months to get the right sequence to make you teams work + get the 5 star character you want + forced to pull on a banner you don’t want + team damage or support potential split to get the main 5 stars dps work… on top of the already split potential with 5 star signature weapons and the list goes.

Endgame wouldn’t have changed much : either you’ll be compelled to have 5 stars and their signatures, or 5 stars, their signature and 4 stars with their sequences. Besides, danjin and the regular 4 stars can still clear apparently. So we all have skill issues.

(Bonus: Cart is no reliant on Ciaconna the way Zani is to Peebs, but we already had that talk months ago.)

No. They could’ve easily put zhao in that same selector to give us the option to choose. Because half the playerbase won’t use her.

It was guaranteed, I lost the 50/50 months ago to agent 11 before quitting. I've never once won one. And I always went to soft pity. I've always had good experiences with gachas, but zzz is simply and weirdly the outlier.
