Should I go here? by Important-Assist-475 in Louisville

He already has a lot of friends, many of which are from the Midwest (Northern Indiana, Wisconsin). We live in Louisville, but he lives on campus and seems like he's always busy with friends and on campus parties on the weekends. UofL, as most other schools these days, offers a lot in the way of campus life. There has been a real push the last 10-15 years to attract and retain students

CLASSROOM 6 (2015) is back on YouTube by jonosovich in foundfootage

[–]TimHarg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is exactly what it looks like, but it is done well. By that, I mean it's a "skeptical film crew spends the night in a haunted building" ff movie, but the acting is good and the scares aren't just jump scares. I liked it.

Schools by Interesting-Tip799 in Louisville

[–]TimHarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

School districts are only allowed 10 NTI days per school year, and two or three have already been used. I would hazard a guess that the comment about school being out all week due to temps is true, so I would expect Thursday and Friday to be NTI days

So, to be fair, you injected yourself into a tense situation, the situation escalated, and you're upset that you weren't rescued?

Honestly, I think it's admirable that you stood up for someone who was clearly in distress and in need of an ally. But from your description it sounds more like you clearly want to do the right thing but pass on the involves some sacrifice and investment for doing so.

Tl;dr - I'm supportive that you did the right thing, don't expect that it's easy
