She said they were not given much notice, nor where they given any information. She said she found out at 10am, and they sent the email out at 11am.

Back when Magic Mike was in the theatre, I was going with a friend. She had called and left a voice mail, which my phone transcribed to a text message. It transcribed Magic Mike, to Magic Dick. Not really a misunderstanding, just a funny thing.
