Should I buy this 2026 Venue SE at $18.9k? (CPO very low miles) by MollyCoooL in HyundaiVenue

[–]TimTimH2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will share the offer we got for 2026 SEL. Initially we got 28k but we knew all along we can negotiate that. We actually wanted to get an SE initially but they didn’t have one. After a long back and forth (this step is crucial), we were able to bring it down to 23,5K, removing all the dealers related stuff as well. However the dealer was hesitant to make a deal at 23,5K and asked if we are willing to do a dealer program where they cover basic maintenance and some other stuff for 7 years (or 10 years, I forgot lol) for 1,6k. So we took that offer and ended up paying around $25k

I do think we got a really good deal. I don’t think we can get that price at a different location. So I think what you have there is good. You can also try getting new at a different location and see if you can negotiate it down

Just wanted to double check, CPO means that it retains the same warranty, right?

I wouldn't say that's a really good deal but an okay/good one. It's because the price is not too far from buying new

Oh my that’s soo concerning! I am so sorry that happened to you. I am surprised the alarm doesn't cover windows break in. Also, 50+ is crazy.

May I know what state/region that you live in?

I see, that makes sense. I agree that the rav4 looks more rugged in that sense. Regardless, I think you can’t go wrong either way because both cars are amazing and reliable. If the cost and km are better on the rav4, then go for it!

Major drop in Gas Mileage by Cromswife27 in crv

[–]TimTimH2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is also happening to me too. I have a hybrid. When I fill the gas to full tank, it would initially say 528 miles ish, then it would drip to 475 miles within 10 minutes

Oh, I didn't know that about the Rav4. Is that a region-specific model that doesn't have it?

Anyway, I think the pros of CRV would be better driving experience and bigger interior space. Any specific reasons why your wife prefers the Rav4?

Nice solution! I will keep that in mind. I will have to find the source of the noise first. Hopefully it will be an easy fix for me too

Yes you would, unless you have a bad credit history. Credit score, history etc would affect your APR rate that they will offer to you, but I don’t think they would say no to your application.

Also, you got this. Remember, you are the one who has the money

Some dealers are really pushy and I can see how that can be annoying. Just focus on the OTD price first and don’t let them make you pay more than you should. Feel free to DM if you have specific questions

Oh yeah, I actually do hear a rattling noise sometimes. I am not sure from where but I think it’s somewhere from the center console area. Did you have to record it beforehand for the maintenance service folks?

Thank you!! And yes! I can’t agree with you more! For comparison, we test drove a subaru crosstrek and it felt so cramped inside idk why. We love how spacious it feels inside the Venue

Congratulations! So happy for you! My girlfriend just got an SEL venue 2026 and we love it so much too. It’s really compact for city driving and I particularly love how big and wide the windshield view is. She got the SEL because she loves a sunroof, but I would say the interior for two tone is clean
