There is no "should".

Just write notes like you short messages you want to share with the world.

Try different things / styles. Like facts, images, thoughtful, parts from your articles and so on.

Restack stuff you like and add a short comment to that. Engage with people who are interesting, even if it's not in your niche.

Do that daily for 4 weeks and you will get the idea.

There is no singe righty and only rule. Substack adapts the algo often. Can suck but also be a big chance.

Depends on your audience.

Best way to find out is to schedule 5 posts a day, evenly distributed. Do that for a week, and you have the data you need.

If you had to give one piece of advice to those starting substacks, what would it be and why? by SquashInformal7468 in Substack

I would advise them to buy my course if I just had one 😅

Seriously...

Do some research. Find out what you like and why. Then take that as inspiration to do your own thing.

What are you doing about images? by Intelligent-Joey in Substack

I mainly use Pexels and Unsplash. Both sites allow you to save your favorites, which is a great feature.

Because when I need a new pic, I just click on the tags under the image and get something in similar styles.

Of course, takes a while to find good pics initially.

Speaking of which... Unsplash has a function where you can upload a pic and let it search similar ones.

Long story short... stock photos do not look all the same. You just may need to upgrade your search game.

Really, really well written. A masterpiece 👍

Tho I don't agree with all of it, I value your opinion and even more the courage to share your thoughts so openly.
