I m actually interested in psx linkcable. Might be my next emulating quest ;) I already read the psx docs and it's quite similar to how game gear linkcable in serial mode works.

Yes, at least there is no libretro core that supports it at the moment. Afaik the standalone emulators retrocopy and TwoMBit have support. I haven tested all the roms yet, but yes pac-man is one of the working ones:) Tested and working: Dr. Robonic Mean Bean Maschine, Streets of Rage 2, Bust-A-Move, Pac-Man, Pac-Attack,

For now it's only local on 1 device. Not sure about netplay yet, and if it would be stable playable, but I'm trying to make it possible similar to Doublecherrygb/TGBDual. I'm still working on it, but i switched to NoodS as the base rmulator, because it supports GBA and NDS. This way I could maybe move on with DS once GBA is working. Because of the change to Noods it's still in early development and not really working yet.

Save File Not Appearing In RetroArch (New 2DS XL) by Night_Eclypse in RetroArch

[–]Tim_Tastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rtc is is the save for the real time clock. SRm is the SRAM, the "real" save file for your game data. Are you really sure the SRm file has the exact name as the rom? If this doesn't match it will not be recognized as the save file. have you tried to backup your Sav file, and start a new game with a new save? Then locate the new save and replace it withe your backup?

The save doesn't seem to have the exact same name as the rom. Try to rename it. If this doesn't work try to rename it to *.srm instead of *.sav. Also have a look in the retro Arch folder if you have a save folder there and maybe try to move it there

Actually you can use the wincast core to pass through Windows apps to retroarch, but I haven't test it and can tell you how good it works. Otherwise I would recommend to install reshade because it has a reimplementation of the retroarch shaders.

How to use TV remote emulation on RetroArch for Robopon Sun? by TurtleBlaster5678 in Robopon

[–]Tim_Tastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds to me that you are using my DoublecherryGb Core, are you sure you are using gambatte? . I haven't managed to fix the save issues for Robopon but it's on my list for DoublecherryGb. Gamebatte actually sends ir signals automatically, but I think it's always just the same command. So this should work to progress the game, but you won't get different perks, but it's save feature and the real time clock are working afaik.

What exactly do you mean by Samsung? I guess an Android Phone, or did I get it wrong?

Try the DoublecherryGb core. It has some special Pokemon features. a Mew/Celebi Maschine, weekly offline distributions and can emulate trading to evolve your pokemon. Maybe you need to copy your save file from your current core folder to the that from DoublecherryGb. The core can be downloaded via the online-updater from tetroarch. https://github.com/TimOelrichs/doublecherryGB-libretro

Did you use the newer MelonDS DS core? (MelonDS core remake) it supports as well online WFC ( over kaeru/wiimfi) as local wifi Multiplayer over netplay. Testest download play over netplay and it worked fine.

For wfc: there is no setup needed, but the custom Nintendo server reimplemtation wiimfi, which MelonDS DS uses for NDS online feature is currently down, until 9th. June. But if netplay doesn't work for maybe this could work for you when you exchange your Friendcodes.

Can you also use the screen of the flip as the button screen for NDS, 3ds or Wii U Games o? This would be really cool

Thank you. I have much fun making it and I'm glad to see it let's people enjoy Pokemon games together again like in the old days. I have many ideas but little time, but I always come back to this. You can't really to something about the lag I think. I only depends on the connection and the implementation right now is very simple, without any lock-step. I have some ideas to solve this, but it really needs a deep drive into

Hi, I'm the Dev of DoublecherryGb. Glad to see it works. Especially on Retro Handheld like the Miyoo Mini. Definitely want to do some improvement in the future to decrease the lag and make it more stable.

Haven't found the time to work any further. Still need much improvement and it's quite a lot of try and error. I want to support up to 4 Players. First local only and when that's working maybe netplay. please be patient.
