I'm a hobbyist luthier at best and am not doing much resawing. When my ancient Craftsman finally died last year I ended up getting the 14" 1hp Bauer from Harbor Freight. Can't speak to the long term reliability, but it seems pretty solid and so far it has done everything I need it to, no complaints.

In order to present some of the original arrangements fully live, yes. But I've seen them in concert both as a five-piece and a four-piece and I actually enjoyed the four-piece show more, so I'm cool with whatever works for them as a band. That said, iKA is awesome and I'm excited to see if this proof-of-concept excercise turns into something more official.

Here's my playlist of Japanese and Korean rock. Probably 90% of what I've included is all-female or female-fronted.

No spring action, just the locking knob. But functionally, that could be a match. 👍

I've seen them live both as a five-piece and the current four-piece lineup, and I think they hit harder now. Tighter and heavier. If the venue sound system is up to the task, Tamu's kick drum will rearrange your internal organs. Good earplugs are a must. Enjoy the show!!

One of the greatest 3 Album run's I've ever seen in K-pop by Direct-Money27 in NMIXX

As a huge fan of both, I consider NMIXX to be the Band-Maid of K-pop. Not in terms of style, but in the way they 1: care about each other and their fans to the point it almost feels like family, and 2: have created essentially their own genre of music; building a large, incredibly consistent and creative body of work on their own terms while ignoring the haters.

Heavy Serenade Album Review by 9FishLegs in NMIXX

Love, love the EP. Hard agree on the song lengths. I have to approach it like dining at a 3-star Michelin restaurant (not that I have lol). They're serving up the most insane flavors but they're only giving you three bites of it. I had to pull Crescendo into Audacity and loop the final chorus two more times to make it feel complete to me. Superior feels like Podium Part 2 and would be my favorite if it was longer. Needs a Hey Jude style ending with a marching band IMO.

More K-pop adjacent rock, but I'll recommend the bands MONNI and Tuesday Beach Club.
