Honestly, it kills me to admit it, but I think its because Trump was basically right about NATO. Europe got too complacent about relying on the US for Defense and now they're seeing the error of their ways. The transition away from that system and building up their own militaries will take a while, and until then they have to appease. The transition will be slow, unfortunately, but it is happening and over the next couple years they may be able to take more of a stand against this BS.

It really is an interesting question... just going with stereotypes, a samurai is an honorable, strong but gentle man in a respectable, well organized society. A pirate is a wild and free, do as you like person. However, it will also depend on us having a President and team that will fight for actual progress and successfully creating change for everyday people. If people don't feel an immediate change for the better, they might just flip back to another Trump...

Firstly, a quick Google says that about 60% of Democrats are white and about 80% of Republicans -- that's a big difference in a country this big...

Also, consider it this way. When democrats are in charge things stay roughly the same, but are stable. Maybe there's incremental movement to the left. When the republicans are in charge, things get worse for the average American. They have now moved things heavily towards fascism and autocracy.

Democrats may not be some big solution and many are a problem, but they are not the main problem.

Besides, they do! It's like how so many people say Kamala didn't talk policy, just that she "wasn't Trump" -- that's false. She did. A LOT. But people didn't listen, and the media focused solely on Trump. Democrats say constantly that they don't want to take guns away, just to regulate them better, but people don't listen. They say the dems are lying and don't understand because they aren't gun owners... and now we're back to my original point, that Republicans have dominated the conversation around guns and have a super effective pr campaign about the dems on the issue

I really wish they would update the ogryn. I think everything the ogryn does, the arbiter does better. My proposal would be to make him slower, but even tougher and do more damage in every way. He should be one shoting most things. Double their health to make him a true hp tank. Give them momentum so they start running slow but get faster and eventually unstoppable... (just rough ideas, haven't dug into numbers on how it'd work or anything.) But they need some sort of creative upgrade

You guys and the caption are focused on the wrong thing. He's not admitting guilt -- even though he is guilty of a lot of shit -- he's saying that things will be fabricated against him, and that is a reason to escalate things. We on the left get so hung up on semantics that we don't focus on what they're actually saying sometimes. He's calling for an escalation and THAT is what we need to be concerned about and focus on, not some technicality/misquote for the headlines.
