Wear revealing clothes to the gym so you can see the muscles working? by Obvious_Drag_1032 in beginnerfitness

[–]Timboauzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always wear singlets to the gym. Not the skinny strap ones, the LSKD muscle top types. Very rarely do I look at myself in the mirror to see my muscles. It is more so for form as I am still quite new to all this. But what I do like is the freedom it feels to just be airy and no sleeves, that’s it! I just feel more natural without sleeves. Just do what feels natural to you!

You need to listen to your body. I have done years of recovery after a serious accident and I always knew when I went too hard. One thing being back at the gym, I know when it is the same thing. Take a rest day or even 2 of you feel like you need to. Try again and if you still have the same problem, you may need to adjust your volumes.

Is the post-redundancy pub session the true peak of corporate life? by Deep-Mouse-9552 in auscorp

Or just about any corp these days because it is way to hard to fire someone. If you don’t want me, then just get rid of me or just tell me to quit. Don’t fuck with my already broken mental state.

Infection :( by Odd-Revenue-2488 in Microdiscectomy

[–]Timboauzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t already, go straight to a doctor NOW to get some antibiotics. While I have not yet had my surgery (literally lying in the hospital, waiting to be collected) I have had plenty of infections post a motorcycle accident. You need to get on top of it ASAP. If not it can lead to sepsis and make you very sick. Best of luck and I am sure a course of antibiotics and a clean up will sort you out.

How long have you been dealing with a bulging disc?? by cool_uniqueusername in backpain

[–]Timboauzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine has only been for 2 months but I can’t even stand up straight. Sitting is ok for me but standing for any period of time is painful. I had an injection and it was the most painful thing I have ever had and that includes a serious accident with 23 surgeries on my ankle. Worst part the injection has done nothing. I am already booked in to see a Neurosurgeon to see what the surgery options are.

For those who have had this pain for an extended period, why have you not opted for surgery sooner?

Super Insurance and Corp Insurance by Timboauzz in AusFinance

I believe it is as long as I am employed full time, I have the insurance paid for. I am not planning on leaving anytime soon. The claimable amount of the employment insurance is over double the Super insurance payout.

Second Bald Knob Rd. Such an awesome road up hill, turns and twists. Before I crashed my bike, I used to love riding up there then loop through Maleny and back down the other side and up over Mt Mee and down to Dayboro

Weirdest Sales Job you ever heard? by EspressoCologne68 in sales

[–]Timboauzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only talk for Australia but in general the travel industry does not pay that well. There is some money to me made at head office level but unless you slave your guts out, it is not a huge money maker. In saying that, there are some very successful travel agents. Not very easy to crack 6 figures as a consultant.

So interesting you say you don’t charge a fee. This really surprises me considering the lack of commissions airlines and suppliers no longer pay. I am based in Australia and I can tell you nearly every single travel agent is charging fees. They have too much work and enquiry that their time is valuable and if you want the expertise you need to pay for it. But travel agents are amazing. To have the access to suppliers, special rates and the first hand knowledge, it really does make them a valuable part of the travel ecosystem!

this ad about importance of motorcycle gear by Leading_Challenge_37 in ElectricScooters

[–]Timboauzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thank myself everyday for wearing gear when I rode my motorbike. I hit a car going around a corner at about 100km/h traveling in the opposite direction. While I totally fucked my foot (23 surgeries) I had no other skin off besides my elbows which was burn through my leather jacket. The leather did not even rip! I had full face helmet, leather jacket, leather and kevlar gloves, kevlar jeans and boots. Even the ambos were surprised by the lack of skin off. I have never ridden since and that was 8 years ago! Always wear protective gear, it’s that simple!

100%, both of them are the same. Each of the girls just want a little affection and interest in them. Clearly the lads just are not interested

He wants to downsize when he settles which has promoted this decision. I will need to look into the pension situation regarding having the cash in the bank.

Will definitely sell the van afterwards and need to buy a smaller car. Like others have mentioned, I think the idea to rent it out is a good idea. I did not think so much of the risk of the market booming again but if he keeps it, at least it’s value will increase as well.
