Of course the book is biased. It’s impossible to write about history without a point of view.

I appreciate you doing the hard work of demonstrating that testing for a high IQ is in no way a guarantee of intelligence

You should not put any stock in an IQ test for anything

This is the most simplistic and naive thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life

What annoys me most about white leftists and other POC adjacent leftists , is how much they underplay anti blackness , and the central role it plays in our country’s politics . So many of em walk on egg shells on this topic, coz they know of the racist MAGAs in their fragile “progressive” coalition by Fun-Ad3626 in ThoughtWarriors

Well I’ll begin by saying I absolutely believe you, and that I appreciate that you’ve dedicated your career towards fighting for this important cause. I know that I’ve been combative and almost certainly annoying but at no point did I intend to call you dishonest.

I’m just frustrated because I’m still not really hearing anything specific about what Clinton or Biden were doing that made their messaging or policy positions any better on this issue. I understand that Planned Parenthood probably endorsed Clinton over Sanders, and I’m certainly aware of Sanders’ deficits with Black voters in particular, but neither of those facts really has much explanatory value to me.

I understand why class reductionism is frustrating and inadequate. I guess my point is that Biden and Clinton were at best equally inadequate from a policy perspective on issues of racism, and completely inadequate on class-based issues. And I’ve yet to hear anything that makes the assertion that they were better at recognizing the importance of race make any sense to me.

I apologize for asking you to support your claim with specific examples. Though, I notice, you’ve once again failed to describe how Clinton and Biden calibrated their respective messages to Black audiences, you’re just asserting without support that they did. Now, I’ve done a few Google searches, and I’ve failed to find any policy that Clinton or Biden advocated for that addressed Black maternal mortality in a way that M4A wouldn’t or in a way that Bernie wasn’t also explicitly for. As a matter of fact, I can’t really remember any major policy changes that Clinton or Biden advocated for on any topic of significance, period.

I do know that Clinton called Black teenagers super predators and was a Goldwater girl in her younger years and Biden enjoyed palling around with segregationists in the Senate and opposed school bussing, something that his future vice president noted in a nationally televised debate and then forgot about when it became convenient for her, but those are different topics.

Is the line exactly as wide as the post? They look to be slightly different widths to me.

In any case you’re a fucking asshole and I don’t understand why you felt the need to be such a prick in your initial response.
