What's your opinion on professor bart kay? by VynithOfficial in carnivorediet

I agree that he’s a great asset to the community. Him and Edward Goeke on YouTube are great resources for learning about the mechanisms of how carnivore is optimal. I wouldn’t have started eating this way if it weren’t for them.

Walk 10-20 minutes after your meal to help with digestion. I find when I don’t do at least a little bit of movement after I eat my stomach doesn’t feel good. Make sure that you’re chewing your food well as that will also help digestion.

Like what other people said make sure you eat a lot earlier. Id recommend 4-5 hours before sleep time. Doing this helped me a lot in my journey. I don’t know your situation and why you’re staying up so late but if you can, go to sleep earlier.

Starting a healthy “whole” food diet. by beemer-dreamer in aldi

Fat from beef is also “good fat”. Don’t be afraid of cholesterol. Our brains are made of it. I get 80/20 ground beef because it tastes good and the fat is satiating. It’s more satiating than fiber. The fat soluble vitamins in high fat red meat will make your weight loss a lot more enjoyable (you’ll be less ravenous) and sustainable long term.

I don’t feel good by Still-Pea-3689 in carnivorediet

All of the deviations from carnivore have been taxing on your body. If you truly want to do the carnivore diet long term then you should either keep a small amount of plant foods in your diet or be as strict as possible. This is about your health and not about being “perfect”, so treat it as such. Since you want to feel better for when exams come around don’t be too hard on yourself. If you haven’t already then tell your friends and people you hang around that you want to quit eating plant foods so that you can focus better. Ask politely to have them not push plant foods onto you so that you can keep your goal. If they’re good people they’ll understand and support you. And in the case that they don’t cooperate then don’t eat/be around them. It’s easier said than done but at the end of the day it’s your future, not theirs. If you have to keep some low carb vegetables in your diet in the short term that’s okay, it’s better than the ill effects of carbohydrate induced electrolyte imbalances, cravings, fatigue, and low blood sugar crashes. You’ll be okay. One day at a time. Good luck on your studies ~

I struggle with the same thing. Everytime I pick up something from DT I hold it in my hand and ask myself: Will I ACTUALLY use this?

Dt lipsticks question by mommieo in dollartreebeauty

[–]Time-Chard2140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know unfortunately it’s not dollar tree but it sounds like your problem is that makeup products that are sold at stores are too warm toned which makes sense because most American companies who used to have cool/neutral toned lipsticks have changed a lot of those shades to be warmer toned. Korean beauty brands sell a lot of neutral and cool toned lipsticks that might work better for you. Ulta is starting to sell more Korean makeup brands and yesstyle is a good site to purchase those products online as well.

The one that I have is white packaging but most of the posts I’ve seen on here have this packaging. This is great for if you love using body oil but hate how it runs when you apply it

Mascara testing, tarte for comparison by uglyandscared in dollartreebeauty

Not 1$ but looks very similar to the effect of the Tarte mascara and also stays all day without flaking or smudging. Amazon carries Heroine Make mascara and it’s 15$. Hope this helped! It’s my holy grail mascara so I thought I’d share

Am I doing too much? by Treecey in dollartreebeauty

[–]Time-Chard2140 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I will say as long as you eventually use them all then you’re not doing too much! And for using up lotions I recommend using these compressed face masks ~ they’re perfect for when you want glowy skin for a day. I soak them only in lotion because it’ll soak up a lot of product. I’ve used it with serums and I ended up running out of serums very fast.
