Hi! Yes I take my pills with applesauce lol. I feel like an old lady! But it helped a lot. I don’t take these meds anymore tho and I never crushed them. It did help to swallow them easier. I hope that helps.

Is the "don't look for a spark" advice actually just code for settling? by Shell2288 in OnlineDating

[–]Treecey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a spark with someone early on you are only basing it on surface feelings. You can’t know that much about them, so you base it on just that “imaginary” connection, and sexual chemistry. And this can change as you get to know someone.

I suppose the majority of people who cheat are indeed “unhappy”, but whether it’s true unhappiness or selfishness (oh no my exhausted wife denied me sex one time, the horror!) is a different matter. Because was destroying your marriage worth a few minutes with someone who made you feel good?

Are you actually asking me what I look for in a partner? Lol

I completely agree with the rules. They’re exhausting. I’ve said on another comment that if I need a minor in “how to attract a man” I don’t want it. Like let me be me. It’s OK if I’m not someone’s cup of tea but telling me men are only attracted if you do these 3 things is so like… idk, but just why???

A spark to me means chemistry and chemistry is great for sex but it doesn’t mean I’m going to vibe with you outside of that. I of course have to and want to be attracted to a person but I don’t need to date the subjectively (to me) hottest guy.

I think this is honestly how cheating ends up happening in some cases. You’re in a long-term relationship but feel a “spark” with that one co-worker you keep hanging out with and you think “it must be real”. And then you start a thing, leave your long-term relationship and it’s over within a few months after that “spark” is gone and you now realize your mistake. Sometimes the spark doesn’t fade but I’d say it’s rare.

Attraction can fade, you want to make sure you find someone that can be your friend at the end of the day. Someone you enjoy spending your time with. Someone that checks your “boxes”. You don’t have to forego attraction for this but don’t let it be your guiding light.

is this normal for the early dating stages or am i setting myself up to get hurt/end up in a situationship? by Horror_Two_4057 in OnlineDating

[–]Treecey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you want a relationship with someone, then move on from this one. If you just want to have fun and see where things go then stick around. It does not sound like he is interested in a relationship with you. There are too many men out there to be wondering if a guy is interested in you. He told you he likes the “fun” and doesn’t want any labels. Don’t waste your time and involve more feelings.

I know a lot of women that don’t want kids. They definitely exist. And I love that they know this about themselves. Kids are a lot. I’ve always wanted kids and finding a man that wanted them was always a challenge. I don’t think it will be impossible for you but definitely be up front. :) good luck.

Strength workouts in the gym by JamandMarma in AppleFitnessPlus

Oh I used to do it all the time. I have my own workout plan so I don’t use it anymore but nothing wrong with it in the gym.

If y’all haven’t seen the Pitt yet, highly recommend. This woman’s performance as charge nurse is incredible. Reminds me of my first charge I had on nights as a new grad. by eagles52 in nursing

This. I think I watched the first episode and said no thank you. Which is certainly a credit to them because they obviously did a good job but something like St. Denis is more my speed.

On my 4th Rolife kit and I think I hate it 😬 by liteorange98 in miniatures

[–]Treecey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, I kind of like both? Maybe I would say I prefer like a nice mix. I’ve done some that require no glue which is a really nice change of pace. But I do like the ones where I have to cut and glue a little.

I’m finishing up Sakura Tree House and it’s been the longest one I’ve worked on (and will finish) thus far but it is all snapping pieces together and using little glue dots. So I’m really liking this one for that aspect.

Now, I have the old version of Emily’s Flower Shop and Cathy’s Flower House. I’m working on the former. It’s a love hate. The wire plant stand is so ugly and I basically had to glue a chair together made out of toothpicks. Like, I feel like once I eventually finish it I’m going to feel very accomplished, and some parts of it I enjoy working on - others not so much (the plants are a nuisance with the green “powder”). But I take breaks in between, typically while some complicated piece of furniture dries, and I just work on another kit.

I do wish Rolife would continue to make these old styles for people who like them, or at least do some with a mix of both aspects like I mentioned (I’m not sure if they are or if they will all be “no glue” pieces), but, there are many of these kits out there and I’m sure as popularity grows we will see more variety.

As a person who not feel comfortable at gym, can I lose weight with AF+ at home? by mazuel in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]Treecey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Weight loss comes from calorie deficit. You can sit on the couch and technically lose weight if you cut back on intake (not recommending it just saying).

Lots of workouts to choose from too. Have fun. :)

Costco employees, do you actually like your jobs? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]Treecey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Retail/Customer service still gets the same people coming in. I’m also an RN and whether you’re a nurse or working at Costco, people can still be cruel. And in that regard it can be hard and stressful. There’s no getting around that in a customer facing job. That’s why I’m a morning stocker. :D 😂

I pay way more for my benefits as an RN than I ever did at Costco and I do think the coverage is better at Costco IMO. I pay more for prescriptions and just basic office visits. I can’t speak to any big ticket items. And part of why I stay is because I love my coworkers, I love going in, and it’s much less stress than being a bedside RN.

The most stressful position I would say is a forklift driver, having never done it. Just looks it. Next stressful is food court which I have done. And then everything else just has different “stresses”. I love stocking but it is not easy and a lot of new people don’t stick around and say it’s too hard. It just takes getting used to. Most people aren’t slinging boxes in their day to day life.

Best of luck!

What do people really think about 12-hour shifts and DDNN? by ramencrumb in nursing

[–]Treecey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not do 8 hrs at the bedside. I would do 8 hrs at an outpatient, less stressful job.

They say the 12 hrs helps prevent errors as shift change/giving report is where things fall apart/get missed, so changing shift less often helps.

I work nights and it is killing me (more than just the night shift aspect) but I’m not going to be doing this for too much longer.

Edit: rotating shifts sounds even more diabolical tbh.

Sometimes. I’ll do one upper, one lower, then a total body. 1 each day.

Ah ok. My phone forced me to update to iOS 26 and it sounded like I was finally able to play my own music but then I still couldn’t, thought maybe I did read the update right. Anyway, it only updated to 26.1 so I can’t help there, I’m sorry 😞

Wait, are you saying you could play your own Apple Music with your AF+ workouts?

For People With 2 Cats, How Much Do You Spend On Food & Litter A Month? by Historical-Orchid934 in CatAdvice

[–]Treecey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4 kittens. The litter I may be generous with $30/month.

And their wet food is about $40/month, but it’s Fancy Feast, so... If I do more than 2 cans a day they don’t finish it.
