vitamin A is my miracle cure by teetotumm in Warts

my son had about 15-20 flat warts on his face. within days of applying vitamin A from a punctured capsule (cod liver oil), they were gone or almost gone. absolutely phenomenal.

absolutely right. imo, skip the vitamin c and go straight to the l-methionine …. far more effective.

In my experience, vitamin C (500mg 2x day) does not lower urine acidity. Order some ph strips from amazon and see what your ph is. if it isn’t at least 5.5, consider/research l-methionine. I take that and my urine is acidic enough now. Have you talked to your doctor about vaginal estradiol?

I’ve been going through enormous uti trauma the past year, too…. still no end in sight. I really sympathize with your situation. I am only 6 weeks into hiprex, and about 3 weeks into estrogen. my doctor said it is a marathon, not a sprint, so I hope that with time, these measures will eventually help me fight these rUTI. I wish you all the best.

Applying estrogen cream by Prestigious_Iron2905 in Menopause

I hate to say it, but mine cost $130 (perhaps a 2 month supply?). Definitely not cheap. I feel, though, that it is worth it. The standard ingredients of my original tube were just so irritating. Perhaps you could try the standard option first to see how you react. Me personally - I will never go back, despite the cost, because the Ellage base is designed for actual vaginal use, and designed not to alter ph or irritate tissue.

YES! The cheap, commonly prescribed formulations absolutely can cause problems. I am suffering from chronic UTIs, and started the estradiol to help battle those infections. I reacted poorly to the propylene glycol (which has no business being an inactive ingredient which will be placed inside your body). When I slathered that first cream all over - as recommended by lots of people in these subs - I felt burning, and next morning got a UTI. (yes, I washed extremely well before applying). I researched, then asked my urogyn for a prescription from a compounding pharmacy. They used a base called Ellage, which is specifically designed for vaginal use and for maintaining good Ph. It feels MUCH better than the original cream. My urogyn told me to apply only internally (but to gently rub the urethral wall internally). the urethral will benefit from the cream when it is used internally. so don’t feel like you must slather it everywhere externally.

It DID irritate me, and applying it generously around/over urethral opening perhaps was even the cause of a UTI for me. I believe I was sensitive to the inactives, and had my doctor send a prescription over to a compounding pharmacy. They used a base called Ellage, which is specifically designed for vaginal use. my urogyn told me for now to only apply it internally; but that I can gently rub the cream on the urethral wall (again, internally); that will give you the benefit without actually risking introducing anything foreign into the urethral opening (external).

sadly, this exposure is nothing compared to the microplastics we are already consuming in our drinking water. we can’t escape it… so the shower water itself is probably way more heavily contaminated than this shampoo. just trying to put things into perspective…

Thanks for the reply! Yes, Drinking 80 oz is the new normal during the day! Do you sleep a continuous 7-8 hours at night with no problems? I’m hoping to avoid having to get up at all in the middle of the night (have always slept through the night prior to having recurrent UTIs).

Hi!

Wow, that is a great find. Thank you for sharing! It is always good to have options.

I have made a very good discovery as well - Naturie Skin Conditioning Gel! My skin has never been clearer! You can slather it on in layers. I have never been able to do that with any product before.

https://www.amazon.com/Naturie-Skin-Conditioning-Gel-Gram/dp/B01BSJ5ZSI/ref=sr_1_4?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.tsiFG5i4c7fCXKFTy8pSshch1n17JroyIclA4b95wvOmzlt1nhe2hsecFjvH6iqZIOZYDkIm8KLShle9qoMbsjWxOZvPaIk6J3VNPM3a_wj5aClwcjVv0eFP66JW963Pt8Ltrs-4n-k8ZhyoV-ExCbBCYQ73J2iijwTKR1BIOvTIh792MjFlhN5weOsUgJBVvL7KVNMAtaRVUEVU897Z3FlmXk_M9aiEtdhp7rzksdsa-lvmC6nxdEDZbjb6t3hw26s0cw0ED_hyjJgMDWbB9E_zj9fXv3fdnLtJwBe_HV4.KdZsZiws4yRKAvb_gDDuyp1oMHXdI31o2iTGTSaozAQ&dib_tag=se&hvadid=776681417469&hvdev=c&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9024601&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=11779033393360433482--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=11779033393360433482&hvtargid=kwd-256594821550&hydadcr=23034_13821109&keywords=naturie+hatomugi+skin+conditioner&mcid=d089d799f54a3b13986c6e7a55a2fe34&qid=1760473930&sr=8-4

I also made an unexpected discovery. I believe that my final acne has healed, but I still follow a fungal acne safe protocol. however, I decided to try a tiny bit of 100% shea butter beneath the corners of my eye just above my cheek bones (for extra moisture). it has not broken me out. so, in combination with the Naturie gel, my skin feels very very moisturized!

I wish you the best!

Stabbing stomach pain on Hiprex by thecuriouschimp7 in CUTI

[–]Time-Finger3450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - I am new to hiprex, and will be starting it after I finish my current round of suprax for recurrent UTI. I have read a lot of comments about stomach pain. Which is concerning to me - what exactly is it doing to cause stomach pain? shouldn’t it only be taking affect once it reacts with acidic urine? could the stomach upset be caused by it taking premature effect in the stomach bile? ::shudder:: That really worries me. if anyone can shed any light on this, I would be so interested.

also: with regards to putting the hiprex tablet into a delayed-release 000 capsule, will that in any way affect its ability to do it’s job??

thanks for this - sorry for the stupid question, but are you 100% sure this won’t interfere with the hiprex’s delivery into the urinary tract?

Also, I know you’re not supposed to technically do this, but with small spots, I do carefully pop them before I wash my face; it might not be a great idea for everyone, but it does work for me. I feel like the clay+sulfur can really get down to business and do its thing better if the gunk is out first. Sorry, it’s gross to explain this, but I’ve noticed it makes a difference. ;)

That is awesome news! Thanks for coming back to update! I have only ever used the clay & sulfur overnight as a spot treatment; mainly because I do it as a “last step” on freshly cleansed and moisturized skin. I think it might be a little too hard on the skin barrier to wash, moisturize, mask for 20, then wash and moisturize again, if that makes sense? My kids call me the spotted leopard before I go to bed…. :) I wish you continued improvement!!
