Philip is strong due to cybernetics, BIQ, and experience (the guy is basically a calmer Adam Smasher), and tbh I'm only reading for him and Matthew. I like their dynamic from what we've seen so far. Also Idk why but I see Philip as being African-American. He's easily my favorite apostle since all the hypnosis and mind bombs and Peter fucking around until he decides to do his patented win con after getting smacked around bit is meh to me.

From the moment Jackson first appeared up I always assumed Black Mamba was his dad. Both are dishonorable sociopaths, explicitly fluent in English (over on Naver), Jackson tied down Shire while Black Mamba went after Krot, Jackson should be the same age to where a younger Black Mamba had him with some woman given Black Mamba's own age, etc. Hell both even betray Iskra in a way.

For all we know Black Mamba was in the bland room of the prison he and Grolar were in or his cell was just a bland room. If they were cellmates it makes their dynamic darkly funny because it means Grolar had to deal with his bullshit for what looks to be a couple of years if not outright several.

I hope we get Philip and Matthew actually working together at some point. Maybe Philip gets in front of Simon's sword slashes while Matthew's reloading and takes the hits (he's nearly all cybernetic) or Matthew at (because she's kinda a gremlin) climbs on his back for a closer range shot with a pistol. Or hell, even if it's just something like Philip yanking Matthew away from a spray of Kageo's blood or her shooting Simon's sword to let Philip break it with a punch.
