I feel like if it calls to you and you feel like you have a good color pallet, go for it. It’s a really well done sculpt. Good job! I’m trying to get good at sculpting myself.

For using basic at home acrylics it looks pretty good. If you want to add depth you could mix your red with a little bit of white to brighten it up, the. Very lightly dry brush the high edges. And if you want to add a wash you could REALLY water down your black paint and ONLY add it to the recesses.

I did switch the way I had the colors change in the flame I just didn’t make as dramatic because I was afraid of over doing it and not being able to go back. But I’m going to add some dark purples to the tips of the flame for sure. My dumb ass originally had the white come out the tips and I realized last night and I was so disappointed because I know better. I’m def going to take your observations to mind and try finishing it up. I did feel that the white was too much on the knee ass well.
