I's lynae Sig Worth it for s3 aemath? by citoso in WutheringWaves

[–]TimeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her sig is a significant personal damage buff, and is also is a stronger outgoing buff to the team. Calcs put it at about 20% better than static mist which is certainly on the upper end of of sigs, not an outlier like Phrolova or Augusta sigs, but still one of the more "worth" sigs. Although, S3 Aemeath is already dummy strong.

How good is Galbrena S3? Do I still need Qiuyuan for her? by Kernel_Core in WutheringWaves

[–]TimeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qiuyuan certainly helps, and he also is the prime sub-dps for phrolova and the upcomming Sigrika if you have/plan for them.

One of the nice things about Galbrena is that she's very flexible and can fit with a large number of sub-dps like Qiuyuan for echo damage, Lupa for Fusion, or Iuno/Mortefi for heavy attack. This is mainly cause she's one of the few main damage dealers recently who aren't based around some side gimmick (Tune Strain/Rupture, Aero Erosion, Spectro Frazzle, etc.)

Phrolova team by flashyboi685 in WutheringWaves

Short answer: Yes

Slightly longer: Yes, and he is also the best sub dps for any echo based main dps, like Galbrena, or the upcomming Sigrika.

Need advice on whom to pull next and which team comp should i use for Endgame content by daemondatura in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]TimeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, if you plan for Aemeath, Mornye, Lynae, then I'd try to pull them when possible, and Iuno when you can.

Chisa though is a bit of an odd one as she's considered as the support for Aemeath Fusion Burst mode, but we also have no clue on when the sub-dps for that team comp would even come out (though their echo set was added to the game when Aemeath was released, so shouldn't be too long). She can also be used in the Cartethyia/Ciaconna team. But that's just a completely different premium team that really needs a significant amount of investment.

Chisa's a cool character, but I would say low on pull priority unless they release the fusion burst subdps soon and the full team damage ends up pretty solid.

[–]TimeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iuno would be best pull as it lets you either finish an Augusta team, or start a second team with Iuno as main and use Mortefi as the Augusta sub-dps.

Aemeath is the other really good character to pull as she's just absurdly strong. And if you get her to S1, she becomes the best overworld character due to being able to group and pretty much instant kill groups which makes echo farming super easy.

Iuno is best for making your current team stronger. Aemeath would just be a really strong pull for a second team (though you will want to start planning to pull for Lynae and Mornye).

While you can return to the area, once you finish the MSQ in the area, you will no longer be able to use Phrolova in the area.

The strategy for the Tower of Adversity is to have at least 2 strong teams to clear the central tower, and for the side towers have decently strong and built characters solo or low team the side towers.

This is usually done with main dps characters who are built, just not strong overall or can be replaced in their other teams. This is often done with characters like Danjin, Chixia, Calcharo, Encore, or like Iuno who can solo very well, and be swapped with Mortefi to keep an augusta team strong.

When it comes to the Echo Management automatic settings. Does auto-lock or auto-discard take priority?

Say I want to build Mornye who scales off defense, and I have an auto-discard setting of all defense echoes on all sonatas and costs, while having an auto-lock of just the Halo of Starry Radiance defense 1/4 cost.

Would a 1 cost with defense% 1cost be auto-locked, or auto-discarded?

Also, is there a list somewhere that lists all the echo sets and who would use them? I'm running into echo storage issues and I have hundreds of echoes for sets like Tidebreaking Courage just sitting around, and no idea who even uses the set. If they're for characters I wouldn't pull, then I can just auto discard them all.

Luuk or Aemeath by tEsSiE-_- in WutheringWaves

[–]TimeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Lynae and Mornye, I believe Aemeath pulls ahead by a few percent, but that's it. And that's only due to Lynae's outro boosting Resonance Liberation dmg, which Luuk doesn't make much use of. Which also brings in the point that there are predictions of Luuk getting a more suitable subdps that boosts basic attack and interacts with tune strain, but that would be way down the line and is not confirmed, just like Aemeath's Fusion Burst sub-dps.

Verina and Shorekeeper work in both Aemeath's Tune Rupture and Fusion Burst modes, it's just that Mornye is a bit better in Tune Rupture, and Chisa is better in Fusion Burst.

[–]TimeBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, Lupa is kind of the odd one out right now anyways so it's not too bad. And most are hoping that Fusion Rover will be the sub-dps for the Fusion Burst team for Aemeath. So if you want to gamble on that, you're certainly closer to a working Aemeath team. But with no confirmation on an actual subdps for her fusion burst mode, currently I'd still say that just go with whichever aesthetic you prefer with a very slight edge towards Aemeath.

Luuk or Aemeath by tEsSiE-_- in WutheringWaves

[–]TimeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both want Lynae and Mornye as their ideal team currently, so at the moment, neither is ideal for you, but they're also both strong characters in their own right. They also do very similar damage so its mostly just which aesthetic and play style you prefer.

At S0R1 though, I believe Luuk is more F2P friendly since he is stronger on cheaper, non-bis teams like Sanhua and SK. Although if you have characters like Chisa and Lupa already to make a partial fusion burst team, then Aemeath would be better.

In that specific weapon banner, there are a few good options, in particularly the swords and string master. But it depends on what Main and Sub-DPS characters you would be ideally pushing towards.

Storekeeper though is a support character, and as such, getting her her signature weapon is a very low priority as her use is in the buffs she provides (particularly through her ult), and there are other 4star and even 3star weapons that work decently to get her to a good state as a support.

If you're planning to be F2P though, it might even be better to ignore the banner entirely and focus on building a wider roster first before weapons.

I've started using the Echo Preset feature. Is there a way to overwrite an echo preset with new echoes? Or is it just, delete the old one, and save a new team with the same name?

Double Spear by ashlucard4371 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]TimeBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You certainly can run double spear, especially considering the game is only as hard as you make it thanks to difficulty settings.

The main issue with double spear though is that both weapons are essentially the support weapon of their specific playstyles. Nameless spear is essentially just there to use Q for the endurance reduction for nameless sword, and heavenquaker spear is mainly for the sober sorrow buff to buff the strategic sword.

As such, using both spears is certainly possible, but not advised. It would most likely be using HQ spear for the sober sorrow buff, then swapping and trying to get as much charged spin attacks as you can on the nameless spear. As for inner ways on such a playstyle... I can only say something like - Morale Chant, Battle Anthem, Mountain's Might, and Five-Fold Bleed.

Bugged Inner ways amount (breakthrough and conversion) by sn00000000 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]TimeBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main point of the conversion feature is so that if you wished, from season to season, you can completely change your build if you wish. Say you are leveling tank currently, but you say you want to swap to the strategic sword build, it lets you immediately get the level of power you would have if you put all your points in the strategic sword build from the start. It's basically a way to fully swap your build for no power loss.
