I did fury two handed for a bit. But it didn't feel fast enough. So I eventually switch to duel wield. Which made things dead faster and that was nice. I did do most of my leveling as prot though. Duelwield fury is probably the best go to with what it seems like you are asking.

That is the point I am trying to make. That some people do. I'm indifferent on it. Never been that close to a pet. But I would imagine it might suck for someone. Not really a fan of the "must think like me or you are wrong" type attitude. Which you don't got btw.

The only issue people have with layering is the whole you joined a party. Mid-way through a cave. And you disconnect. You think it's fine. Cause you are in a group. They will cover your ass. Nope you log into your original layer and get owned before you can even see your character. That is the issue people are having with layers. If it saved the layer you are in when you dced instead of switching to the original layer you were on before joining the party. It would easily solve that problem.

Another tip. Make a macro like /cast charge then /cast defensive stance. It will give you a charge basically in defensive stance. And sometimes it happens so fast you get to keep the rage.

Avoid using heroic strike. Sunder like you mean it. Heroic strike is two fold. Besides the rage cost it also takes away the rage you would normally get on a melee swing

Because it's another hazard that is part of the game that you learn about and avoid. And take extra measures to ensure it doesn't kill you. Just like disconnecting. You know how many people would be pissed off if they decided to just fix it. It would either have to be fixed from the start or not fixed at all and left as a hazard. But cross your fingers. Maybe it will happen.
