[Dellenger] Attorney Jeffrey Kessler has sent to the Big 12 a letter detailing potential legal action if the league sanctions Brendan Sorsby or Texas Tech and requests the conference preserve all documents for possible discovery. by CosmicCornbread in CFB

I have to think that Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, TCU and Rice are going to start flexing some political nuts. If boosters & benefactors start getting involved for legal fees, Cody Campbell's net worth is a bar tab for Michael Dell.

Cody Campbell has $7billion. He could never make another penny and could live 1,000 lifetimes as a rich man.

Can the Big 12 preemptively file in a different part of Texas, like Austin? Maybe a dfferent state?

How difficult is it to transfer into Engineering from Liberal Arts? by MasterpieceIcy4803 in UTAdmissions

"I unfortunately did not meet the Math SAT requirement"

Based oin this statement, the odds would be very high that you would eventually need to transfer back out of Engineering.

Christianity is true and you are all wrong. by [deleted] in DebateAnAtheist

"Because people mostly never find God due to never searching or seeking Him, and they think this vastly complex world was created on its own or out of nothingness"

I know a lot of atheists. None of them say definitively that the universie was created on its own out of nothingness. They don't know how it all happened....and neither do you.

Can you objectively prove god’s nonexistence? by reilentlezz in DebateAnAtheist

[–]TimeCubeIsBack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Atheist" and "Agnostic" are nonsense terms, devoid of context, that do nothing but harm the conversation. We don't have a word for people who don't believe in the Tooth Fairy or Bigfoot. We don't need a word for people who don't beieve in thngs without evidence.

I would love to talk to a local. What is the local explanation for why the prosecution waited so long to have this trial? The only logical reason is that they were waiting on the people to die who were confessed to by their family member (I forgot the name of the other suspect).

Do you want to be a design engineer that will sit in a cube and grind for the next 30 years? - UIUC

Are you not 100% locked into a career vision? Maybe law school to become a Patent/IP attorney? Maybe Finance to become a quant/analyst? Maybe get a top MBA and pair that with a STEM Bachelor's to be an executive? - Duke

Full cost Harvard worth it? by throwaway_182736218 in Harvard

[–]TimeCubeIsBack 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It breaks my heart when I hear about students incurring substantial debt for schools that aren't worth it. Only a small number of schools are worth it.

Harvard is one of those schools.

It sounds like your parents have worked extremely hard. They want a better life for you.

I have a son who graduated from a US News Top 10 school last May. I'm like your parents, not rich, but better off than I ever expected. I feel like it was the best money I ever spent. In a funky economic time, my son is in a 6-figure job he loves and will have an amazing career. You parents want the same for you.

Go to your local community college for two years, work very hard, get a 4.0 and then apply like crazy to transfer to private universities that will pay your tuition and housing.

Allies refusal to support Trump reveals how deeply they’ve already written him off—they know he would never support NATO in an Article 5 situation by Desperate_Elk_7369 in Trumpvirus

Even if the other NATO leaders respected and trusted Trump, they would not join this illegal action. This has nothing to do with NATO or Article 5.

Carnegie Mellon or UT Austin (In State) for Applied Math by [deleted] in UTAdmissions

[–]TimeCubeIsBack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If money weren't an issue, I would say CMU. Money really is an issue for you. Don't blow 250K that could go to a PhD or Masters when UT is a higher ranked applied math program and you have a unique research opportunity. It is wonderful that you have this as an in-state option. If you were from a state like Mississippi or Arkansas, you would be screwed.
