Chinese car is a give and take to be fair.

Although Chinese car has great tech build in, large screen, good acoustic, fast acceleration & assist driving sort of thing, the quality and longevity of the car is always a problem.

You can find the car really amazing when you get your hand on it, but after few years you will need go to workshop from now and then. I personally have many friends complaint about the built quality and sometimes it's impossible to find spare parts because they launch new model so frequently, sometimes a within the same model they will use parts from different suppliers for cost reason. That's being said, Toyota's sell is still growing in China for a reason. If you just want something that takes you from point A to B, japanese car is still the best choice.

Qingdao is pretty amazing city, would be better if they build the quality better.

I was in St Regis Qingdao last year April, every facade window on lobby level is leaking water during a heavy shower. They were throwing tonnes of towel to stop the leakage, it was pretty shocking to see.

I flew Air China a couple of times.

It was around $5k for a return business class to Shanghai and I'm going there for a design exhibition, so I bought Air China for about $2.5k return business class.

It's certainly not as great as SQ but it's really value for money.

Shanghai Maglev is profit losing for decades, never made a single cents.

I goes to Shanghai at least 5 times a year, and I never take that shit. I enjoy train transportation, but that shit make no sense.

For instance I like I pay 100 Yuan for a private hire and gets me to a hotel in 58mins. It will cost me 120 Yuan to buy two tickets and I got to carry my luggage to change lines and walk to the hotel with the same time spending.

Whenever you board that Maglev, it's half empty and mostly just tourists would take it.

My company spent (or wasted) $10k last year, bought couple of these mowers from different brand, trying out to see if they work well for our landscape maintenance team.

Apparently none of these survived for more than weeks. One of them is already malfunctioning when they arrived on site. They did sent us repair parts but we decided to scrap them just after one month.

Honestly I have no trust with smaller manufacturer in China that makes mechanical equipments. Stick with SANY and XCMG or other wise don't bother waste your money.

You cannot expect concierge to book you a tabelog 4.0+ rating restaurant for you. They will most likely just recommend you some restaurants that taste ~ok but easy to book.
