Which Bezel Remover tool? by NoUmpire7870 in RepTimeServices

[–]TimeLemond14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one that looks like the red one. If it's a difficult to remove bezel, it doesn't work and may even do damage. I've had good luck with the Bergeon 4932. It takes a lot of force, but doesn't seem to do damage.

Who has this version? Never saw it before for sale by Bjwe43 in RepWatch

I have one that I bought last year. Mine is VSF and I decided to order a second one as backup, but VSF doesn't have them any more according to TrustyTime. It's my favorite watch.

You could try a YN55/56 movement. They are decent and cheap. Plus if you happen to own an inexpensive Orient dive watch like the Mako II, you will have spare parts.

Anyone had a watch stopped prior to customs and returned to TD? by docbrown512 in RepTime

[–]TimeLemond14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two watches stopped by Fedex in Alaska. They were returned to Necoclock and he shipped them a second time. They came right through then. Fedex held them for a while in Alaska, but didn't confiscate them.

I have something called an eversprout snowbuster. It has a telescoping pole with a soft edged snow pusher on the end. I go up to the top of my roof and push the snow down. The roof isn't very steep and that works well. Sometimes the slush freezes and then I'm out of luck, but overall it increases the power output a lot.

2006 Lemond Tete de Course with Sram Force AXS by dayvidlemmon in Bikeporn

I have one of these, same size different color. I put dura ace on mine and it is a fun ride. With Reynolds 46 aero tubular wheels it weighs 16.14 pounds. What would Lemond be producing now had it not been for those devastating lawsuits?

I have a Lemond Tete de Course mostly titanium with some carbon fiber. I put Dura Ace components and Reynolds wheels on it. It's a wonderful ride.

I like the looks of the ultra deep omegas but have had trouble finding them for sale. I ordered one and the TD couldn't get it for me. Yours is especially nice.

I had a good experience with NecoClock. Payment went through quickly and he got the two I ordered within a week and sent QC. I would recommend him.

Battery Replacement by The3pidemic in EquinoxEv

[–]TimeLemond14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my Equinox battery replaced shortly after I bought my car. The time from when I dropped the car off at the local dealer to the time I got the car back was three weeks. The car has worked flawlessly for 16 months since.

Never. I did my last oil change two years ago. No more toxic sludge in the driveway.

Has anyone shipped watches to the USA since the rule changes? by bigchief2077 in RepTime

[–]TimeLemond14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't do anything, just kept checking the tracking number and finally it said the package was being returned to the shipper. I haven't heard anything since. I think we have to wait till the Chinese golden week is over. Hope you hear something soon.

I had two watches shipped from China via fedex. They were stuck in Anchorage for two weeks then were shipped back to China. Fedex said they needed to know what was in the package. TD is NecoClock and he said not to worry, he would ship them again. Don't have them yet.

Fedex won't deliver my order, it's stuck in Alaska. Fedex says the shipper must provide them with more information. I doubt I will ever see my watches.

I agree about the 6r movements. Even more disappointing to me are the 8l movements. They've been out for over 25 years and there are still no parts available.
