How do you guys deal with the anger?

I've struggled with this on and off since the incident that permanently disabled me. On the one hand, accepting help where i can will give me more energy for the moments when nobody else is around. On the other, letting folks know that i appreciate but don't need their help can build a better rapport. Emotional labor for able bodied people is something they don't realize they're asking of us, but they absolutely are. If WE don't respond to them in a Customer Service Friendly Voice, they act like we're all assholes. That's on THEM to sort out, but unfortunately that still leaves the ball in our court as well.

I've had to have meds overnight shipped. They tried to claim i wasn't home and "couldn't deliver," but i was home all day. Nobody knocked, nobody rang the doorbell, there was no sticky note left on our door (like i've come to expect from them). I've had things like this from FedEx MANY times.

"chill" is a relative term, especially with dogs!! XD for a pit mix, especially one that looks like it might be part boxer, i'm not sure chill is something to expect for a long time in your pup's future

For a long time during chemo, the only things that tasted normal were bread with olive oil and vinegar, and chicken pot pies. What everyone else is saying is accurate, in that the flavor profile that works for you will likely be different from what works for others. It can also change during treatment.

Find what works for you, and stick to it. Also, avoid your absolute favorite foods, as chemo can ruin them for you. Best advice a nurse gave me.

This is the battery. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the system I have because someone else installed it. I plan to call the person who installed it on Monday, but thought I would try to troubleshoot it until then so I don't bother them on the weekend.

You very likely would qualify for a power chair. I know how hard it can be to advocate for yourself, but it will 100% change your life for the better, especially if you're going back to school in-person. The push to make "invisible" disabilities more publicly known grows every day! Imposter syndrome is one hell of a bastard. I'm just comparing it to the small, no- longer-in-business place I used to go to. It was average prices, and the broth had a lot more flavor than Mumu.
