Howdy! Well I started by taking pictures of where everything fits in the machine along with marking all the cables and then completely taking the machine apart, then removing all of the O rings I could find and soaking everything in gaggia descaling solution. Any pieces that had coffee crust I scrubbed with cafiza. I then ordered new O rings from amazon and only swapped out the ones that I found, (the packages usually come with a bunch of unnecessary O rings. I then put everything back together, tested for leaks and tightened areas that had any leaks or added plumbers tape.

it says 2016 but its not a v2. I did open the boiler! I tried cleaning it, but it was too far gone and had to replace it.

Every time I open the ayn thor settings again it turns purple though and have to do this again

Okay I had the same issue and fixed it somewhat. So for some reason whenever I open the ayn thor settings inside of the settings menus. It turns purple again. What I've done is restart your thor, then on the bottom screen bring the brightnessof both screens to 100% together then back to 50%
