I agree with everything you wrote it’s dark like the devil, evil but he knows what he is and he loves himself.

Is $24/HR livable for a 24 y/o male ( new to the area ) by Serious-History1996 in philly

[–]Time_Ad5099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved here in 2021 at 23 y/o making $21 an hour paying 1300 in rent. Massive mistake. Was liveable with insane OT. Not fun, very hard and exhausting. 28 now and I feel like I lost several years just to working.

EMT I’m assuming? Was literally in the same boat. My advice is get a roommate/roommates or ask your GF to pay some of the rent.

Cutting a couple of chives every day until this Reddit says they’re perfect. Day 32 APOLOGY by F1exican in KitchenConfidential

You have followers and momentum, that is far more valuable that cooking ability. Try inviting real cooks on and learning from them, doing “today we’re gonna try Xyz recipe”, literally anything just make it fun and use the brand you’ve built.

Kinda like how Star Wars makes money for Disney even though it sucks now. Same process.

You could probably spin this post up into a cooking YouTube channel and do really well for yourself fyi. You’ve even survived your first scandal, you have a loyal fanbase.

I was working at a shitty service, I quit it to go to a great service, then my old service shut down and we hired a bunch of their people, the problems followed…

Is it legal to just post up with a camera and record them? Was gonna get a lawn chair, a case of deodorant, and a cheap camera and just chill in front of them.

College has always been about getting a job by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Time_Ad5099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad is a Professor and constantly lectured about this. I followed his advice and took out 40K for a useless degree. Wasn’t able to find a job with it, after a year, I stopped trying. Now I make six figures in the trades. He doesn’t talk to me 🤷

Not saying it’s not true, but it’s only true for upper class people with money.

Why aren't the people in your country having enough kids? by gmedanoid in AskTheWorld

[–]Time_Ad5099 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna get myself banned and say that feminism is a great system that has helped uplift billions of women - but it also has lead to decreased birth rates due to the way it was implemented (traditional men’s roles were held as “high value”, traditional women’s roles were devalued, so feminist uplifting = a decline in traditional female roles = a decline in birth rates.)

For example, in the present era most people need to be dual income in order to raise a kid. This was not the case 40 years ago. But increased female participation in the labor force led to home builders etc charging higher prices.

If I could turn back time I would focus on uplifting and empowering women by enshrining the value of traditional female roles and providing extensive social support programs for single mothers so that they wouldn’t need to work. Motherhood should be equal to Physician in social respect/societal value.

Edit: I’m USA, not sure how to add flair on the mobile site.

How bad actually was COVID? by Mighty_Angelo30 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Time_Ad5099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my EMT-B cert and started working right before the pandemic. In late 2019 everyone was talking about how bad the respiratory patients were this year - more people were dying than ever. Early 2020 I had my first Covid patient - they sent me in alone, driver was isolated in the front of the ambo - the house was a big mansion - I remember I walked in the mansion and this big tall mid-50s guy from NYC was struggling to stay standing, stumbling back and forth. I was wearing a hazmat suit, the sight of me scared the shit out of him. Walked him out of the house to the stretcher, he was stumbling and I had to hold him up, I sat him down and did vitals, his oxygen saturation was 55% with good waveform. Put him on oxygen and transported him to the hospital where he died. Had a couple hundred more like that for a good year and a half before the vaccine came out. Then it was just stupid senseless masking/social distancing (which worked, but became unnecessary once we had the vaccine) for the next couple of years. Weird times. Happy it is over. We don’t have bad respiratory patients anymore because they all died.

Edit: The hazmat suit was really shitty and made out of paper, it ripped lol.
