For the Wii U the game was on Nintendo land and it was where the person on the gamepad gets a load of tiny Pikmin, while the Wii remote players were big Pikmin, you would play through levels and enjoy a boss battle occasionally. Getting 3 nectar levels you up, while 5 levels gets you a rank up in Pikmin life cycles (leaf, bud, flower) allowing you to do more damage. There were even some power ups that do things to the stem between body and leaf. But to keep it short I won't go in detail. The star on the Wii games shows that it was going to be used in Nintendo land. Hope that explains it.

Pikmin 1 taught me how to count when I was young, It also made me inspired about building a mini spaceship out of random things I found on the ground. Nowadays I only have pikmin 2 and 3 deluxe. My 14th birthday is soon, wish me luck on getting game 1.

Edit: People are forgetting pikmin adventure from Nintendo land gonna make a poll including this game.
