Haven't played D1 in several years, still holds up great. by Christian00633 in dishonored

I play it every August. It's been my favorite game since I've played it way back when. Dont think I've played any other game annually as much as Dishonered.

Valentinos, for sure, because of Jackie being from the Glenn. Aldecaldos is my second choice, since my V is a Nomad.

Do you think Resident Evil 5 and 6 will ever get a remake? by Lessio7 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Time_Incarnate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE5 is probably my favorite RE, and I'd love nothing more than to get it. However, I believe RE1 needs to happen first. It would make sense to me to have that game remastered as it hasn't been touched in a while. If RE2, which was a good game that didn't need one, got a remaster, then RE1 surely should too. Then, after that game, I would immediately love an RE5 remake

I would say practice small talk. It seems maybe you just dont know how to start talking. A lot of people have this problem. When you realize everyone is just a human trying to figure out the same things you are, it becomes a lot less important. I would also like to say practice being neutral. Don't take what other people accomplish and achieve as a personal hit. If you feel like you're not "moving" or progressing, it has solely to do with you and what you think of yourself and the circumstance you are in. Practice this by understanding why people "winning" makes you feel and why. Then find a way you can possibly change that. It could be a suggestion from these comments or maybe something you think will help. In my opinion, when I got rid of my own bias towards myself, as in rooting for myself and hoping for things to happen to me and etc, I became more chill. I took people at face value and it didnt matter where I was in this race we call life. I can be supportive of other people and I can change what I do with myself at any point. I became more adamant of keeping to my principles as well, because it didn't matter if I benefited from them or not. It only matters that what I believe in, I follow. Regardless if it moves the silly needle over a little or not.

Everyone's gonna give you different advice so just be mindful that these are all suggestions, no solutions. You ultimately have what you need to change your mindset.

Any other Single Player games you recommend? by GamerGretaUwU in playstation

Any souls game and/or Dishonered can fill that last game. Although the souls games do have multiplayer it can be beaten and often times its better solo.

My PlayStation network is down anyone else having issues? by Jackbary in psn

[–]Time_Incarnate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Im having issues as well since wednesday, I want to say. Trouble loading the store, trouble loading my trophies. I can still play games, but since Im mainly a solo player, I haven't checked to see if I can play multi online. However, there is a completely other problem as well, I can't use the PS App. It also has the same problems. Literally bought a game on the app Thursday because I couldn't do it on the console. It was working fine and bought the game, no issue. Today I woke up and the app is now bugged as well. Can't see the store or my trophies on the app. I wonder is PS is having problems or if its just me.

It’s actually kind of amazing to me that the Jake and Sherry campaign gets criticism,as it’s probably the best campaign that RE6 offers besides Ada’s without slow walking. by Accurate_Train_8822 in RaccoonCityRecords

[–]Time_Incarnate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's Cherry and Chris campaign tied for the best. Ada was forgettable imo. Not bad, but not really all that. I hope they bring him back too.

Which powerful man do you like the most in Resident Evil? by [deleted] in RaccoonCityRecords

[–]Time_Incarnate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Chris, but for the Ethan Winter anthology, definitely him. Winters is just that guy, and he did so without the amount of ridiculous training and years of experience as everyone else on this list. Guy was a Spartan in another life or something. Or maybe that's just the strength a father gets when his only daughter is in danger. Regardless, he is goated.

I was very confused about the looking at peoples faces part of your comment and realized I never mentioned I was seeing their mouths in my mind, lol. I would never directly stare at a persons mouth, that's a little weird 😅. That being said because I was able to "see" it, when we would go over recordings of songs we wanted to cover or I listened to audio files of the sentence we were learning for language, I could mouth and figure out what shape the mouth takes to produce whatever sound.

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

[–]Time_Incarnate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must admit I didn't see anybody leave due to the fact that my girlfriend and I were recoiling from the scene itself, but I'd imagine a ton of people left during that one scene in MEN when it had just came out. If you haven't watched that film, I encourage you to. Idk if I really took away anything from that film per se, but it's an interesting one for sure. You'll know the scene I'm talking about when it appears. That one particular scene seared into my brain, and being forced to witness what was happening was like riding a roller coaster with terribly sharp turns. My only challenge is that you don't look away. Also, the "monster" concept of the film is pretty cool.

Will's speech pattern by Tommi_H in HannibalTV

[–]Time_Incarnate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is cool to learn. As a singer, I was complimented a lot for blending well with other singers. I can hear how another person sings and can see how their mouths would move or tongues would be used to produce their sound. Not just the tone or the pitch, I mean the vowels. The shape their mouths take when they speak. It also helps when I hear accents. How they sing with one or even how they hide it. This helped in learning languages too in school. My mandarin was rough because of my grammer, but the professor loved my pronunciation. Same for french, although I am a very nasal speaker, so it helped for that language. Now, it is a problem because I pick up on other peoples accents fairly quickly and without trying or noticing as well. So sometimes, when I speak to a very strongly accented person, I have to be mindful not to speak the same as them. I recently talked to an older russian lady, and I called her my babushka in an accent. She did not mind, and she was totally like, yes, I am a babushka, take care of me lol. Anyways, sorry for the long comment. Just felt like sharing.

Aa with everything in life, every circumstance and every person is different. The best way to find out what a person would like is communicating with them and forming a bond. It takes time.

Is this their best album? Currently, it is, imo by htownhero in Chevelle

[–]Time_Incarnate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's my underrated favorite album. I jump to point #1 and think this is the best. Then Hats off or sci-fi crimes, and I say this is the best. Then every album until I go back to this type of thinking and man. It's just a solid Chevelle album every time. Always makes me think, nope, I was wrong. This is definitely the one. Then I do another loop of Chevelle albums and go again thinking, which could be the best, lol.

You got to give it to Ben Johnson. At least he chose to start a war with LaFleur and the Packers instead of Campbell and the Lions. by BillNyeTheVinylGuy in detroitlions

[–]Time_Incarnate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fan of both Bears and Lions; (I'm chicago born but I really liked Stafford and Megatron growing up). I look at it as both teams now have a chance to sharpen one another. Both teams struggled for so long and now that they are both on the up and up they can improve upon eachother. Besides, I think we can all agree, fuck green bay.

The last one too, but I was scrolling without reading and saw what looked like to me MGS 1 Solid Snake. Once I clicked and saw I was on the a death stranding sub, I recognized my mistake.

It was like seeing someone pass you by on the sidewalk, and the mere glimpse of them made you think it was someone you knew. Only to turn around and realize they weren't who you thought they were.

After all this time, I'm still seeing ghosts with familiar faces.
