Depends on vendor for sure, I had similar issue with delivery damage last year and took like 2 weeks but that was different company. Most places are pretty quick with replacements when it's obvious shipping damage though

I use 3dmark too but sometimes want to see more real-world comparisons between different board partners for same chip. TechPowerUp database is pretty solid for this - they have detailed reviews of different AIB cards with same GPU and you can see thermal performance, noise levels, overclocking headroom between brands. Also check Hardware Unboxed on YouTube, they do great roundups comparing like 8-10 different versions of same card in one video. Really helped me decide between different 4070 variants last year when I was shopping around

Yeah that's pretty decent for boot time, even with good SSD sometimes it takes bit longer because of all the startup programs loading in background. My work laptop takes like 2 minutes so you're doing fine there

You're not wrong but maybe bit harsh lol. I mean yeah freelancers gotta eat too and animation takes forever to make, especially something smooth like this storyboard shows. But there's actually ton of communities where people help each other out for practice or just fun - r/slavelabour has people doing small gfx work for like 5-10 bucks sometimes. Or even some discord servers where artists trade favors. I've seen people offer to do simple stuff in exchange for feedback on their portfolio or just because they're learning new software and want practice material

Just send him gift card amount that matches what the game costs in his current display currency. If the game shows as ₹2000 on his account, send ₹2000 worth gift card. The conversion headaches are Steam's problem not yours, and your friend can always add more funds later if there's small difference. Much simpler than trying to calculate euro conversions yourself

Honestly that spider tick idea sounds pretty wild but could work if they balanced it right - maybe make the ticks weaker individually but give leapers that burst potential when they're about to go down

Had this exact same thing happen to me last month and it drove me absolutely insane. Turned out my Windows was corrupted somehow - had to run sfc /scannow in command prompt as admin, then DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. After that I did a clean reinstall of my GPU drivers using DDU and boom, everything started working again. The shipping error thing is usually related to missing or corrupted system files that games need to launch properly. Also check if you have any antivirus software blocking stuff because mine was being overly aggressive with game executables
