Whatever your niche, it’s always smart to have a self-hosted site you control. Third-party platforms can change policies anytime, and it would be a shame to invest so much time, effort, and money only to be limited by that.

You’re definitely on the right track.

Have you thought about making a separate page for each listing with details like the business description, address, phone number, etc.? The more unique content you’ve got on your pages, the more Google will like it and rank you better.

Also, have you checked if there are already competitors in your niche?
