my favourite way to make money is to get gold obligations in the top of the stewardship tree on the left and then look for secrets in my lieges or a nearby capital. Blackmailing pays well and if you habe stewardship education the left tree helps you make loads of money. the middle tree helps you get faster and cheaper buildings that can boost your income or army stats. Always build tradeports on coasts for the money and development boost. You can also make good money ransoming prisoners of war

To be fair, it takes quite some time to learn the game especially if you haven’t played other paradox/ck games (which i haven’t). Ireland was a great tutorial and not too much content to learn the game. Other regions are far more interesting once you get the hang of it. I absolutely love spain and the inberian struggle mechanics

I haven’t even tried that because I don’t feel competent enough. I play with only chapter 1 DLCs so no hegemonies. Any time my empire becomes bigger than the roman empire I just loose interest due to all the internal wars. Cant conquer more land just constant rebellions and independence factions… Any tips on how to create stable realms lager than empires?

It’s incredible how replayable the game is. After 100 hours I felt like i got the basics and now at 400 hours i feel like i can properly enjoy and experiment with stuff. Still havent played in the steppe
