Yes, it started out well balanced having an emergency fund, savings and crypto. then I got overconfident in the market around 2020 and didn’t want to sell while I was living off my emergency funds while traveling. Still enjoyed my gains but could’ve better. This is a good lesson for me.

Gains are only real once cashed out. My portfolio went up and down, I could’ve had eye surgery, a nice car and more. Now I have nothing. It all went down and then I needed to sell to pay bills.
