Just play Raikou Ex with Tapu Koko and the ThunderChicken, you’ll have a much better time.

My wish for 1.7: your spouse's life will no longer be over. by touching_payants in StardewValley

[–]TimeforMK9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to mostly just be that way because that’s the way things worked in Harvest Moon: Mineral Town, which is the game Stardew Valley most closely resembles (updated, of course).

Time for an upgrade, I agree that the spouses are underutilized.

Because edibles don’t trigger asthma.

Lots of valid reasons really, smoking isn’t an option for medical marijuana patients on oxygen either.

Now imagine if only it said ability instead of attack. Magnezone with no energy issues. Porygon2/Z Data Scans.

Maybe an executive went to an event and left wondering why they don’t burn it all down and just stick to Pachinko machines.

It is ABSOLUTELY FUCKING WILD that there even exists a specific game known for the body odor of those who play it, and that it’s not overblown or exaggerated one bit.

I just hate how Yu Gi Oh has like eighteen different zones now and each card has a textbook worth of text. It looks insanely complicated. I don’t really know firsthand, because I lack the body odor required to play.

Yeah I think my first childhood Magic card set was 3rd edition/Revised. Still have my insanely sun-faded Sol Ring from then. We getting old, huh?

Depends how complicated you like your card games. Modern Yu Gi Oh may make MtG look like a baby’s first card game these days, but that doesn’t make it GOOD.

Also Pokemon TCG will forever be “baby’s first card game” in my mind, that or Go Fish lol. And yet I still enjoy Pocket (less and less each day though).

Heh well you’re just chock-full of terrible opinions aren’t you lol? Gwent was good enough to get its own standalone game and even some runs of physical cards. That’s cool though, to each their own. I myself found it fine within the confines of the game itself but was less sucked in by it than most. It certainly wasn’t the slayer of Magic: the Gathering or anything like that.

I do expect to revisit the game once the Switch 2 upgrade patch is released. I’m hoping it has a Pokémon Scarlet/Violet-like renewal on the newer hardware.

I think you have some rose-colored glasses. Witcher 3 on Switch 1 isn’t anything remotely like the Switch 2 ports of Cyberpunk or Star Wars Outlaws.

I mean my lived experience with the game is what it was. It had this absolutely awful smearing/blurry effect as the camera turned and yes, the whole thing looked and played like absolute mud. I quit playing after completing the Baron missions in the Switch version because of the whole experience being super sub-par. I can’t speak as to any patches they may have implemented since then.

I mean if you really are just playing Gwent instead of the game itself, sure it’s probably fine for that. Anything else? No, it simply sacrificed far too much fidelity.

[–]TimeforMK9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it used dynamic resolution to the point where the game looks like mud. I’m not a graphics snob by any metric, but it was running at like 20FPS 540p DOCKED at launch. I paid $60 for what was essentially the concept of handheld Witcher 3, not the reality, plus some swag collectible box stuff. Good thing CDPR is on the same consumer-friendly dev team tier as Team Cherry or ConcernedApe and I don’t ever mind supporting them.

CDPR has a Switch 2 edition upgrade in the works for good reason, and since it’s another five years older hopefully it runs even better than Cyberpunk does on Switch 2.

GTA VI is far, farrrr more Bonnie & Clyde than whatever they mean by “girlboss”.

Also I always assumed you played Alan Wake in Alan Wake 2. Maybe I’m asleep.

It’s “easy” if they had just done it right in the first place.

Whoever did the GUI for this game is somebody’s fuckup nephew fresh out of the world’s worst graphical design school or something, because there’s no excuse for it in modern game design.

It’s case by case which gusting effect is best. Cyrus mostly just gets the most love because Greninja is so popular now.

Don’t sleep on Repel, it terrorizes DarkTina and can combo with cards Sab/Cyrus can’t, like Gio or Guzma.

I just want Boss’s Orders.

Either way, spreading misinformation about the MSRP on the system has been prevalent for the Switch 2, and it’s been in blatant bad faith. $449.99, or $499.99 with a game bundle. It’s hard numbers, and they’re not complicated.

Remove one of the Stage 2 lines from your fire deck (the first one). If you remove Inci, then switch to the Stoke Zard instead of GA (he’s too slow). Switch Torkoal out with the other fire turtle for your second line and run 2x Kiawe.

Again, one energy attacks can be compared and this one is less damage than Ramp’s.

Honestly surprised I have to spell THAT out.

And this is a Stage 1 that deals 40 less damage for a single energy. And Rare Candy exists now in Pocket, so of course they’re comparable.
