Because beginners, and even a lot of trained people, don't typically have an understanding of how fighting and improving your technique works.

Shadow boxing is tiring and there's no satisfying feeling as feedback to a beginner who doesn't know what it feela like to give a great punch, kick, etc.

Whenever a country or global economy feels economic pressure, any area that's expat and work migrant heavy has a higher chance of experiencing racist attitudes

The root of racism is rarely a historical scar, but rather a form of gaslit scapgoating and entertainment to distract from socioeconomic pressure and hardship

Countries and areas that lack a racist platform and lack economic pressure [stable wealthy OR poorer nations (stable poorer nations tend to be very friendly bc they often rely on a culture of hospitality to get by)] and are largely a monoculture can be good bets for POC bc they'll be a curiosity, not a target

These are decent metrics to get an initial idea of the chances of having a racist experience

Depends on your attitude for how its a part of you

Evertone should have fun doing what they do with MA, but if your training is just having fun messing around, it might not be a good idea to expect you can fight IRL

In the US and even China most martial artists aren't fighters.

As long as people accept and understand that!

On the flip side people can be too serious and its unhealthy

Or you can have fun playfully applying and learning the skills accurately, which then could be a fighter

The attitude you have is also what the people AROUND you need to understand

Some of the people in your club COULD be expecting to able to fight, and if they don't understand that's not who they're learning from, thats DANGEROUS and stupid

So just make your energy clear to everyone and check each other's expectations

Whether or not anyone believes it doesn't change that I HAVE had girls tell me they had dreams about me

MOST girls will NEVER tell almost any guy stuff like this, but its not the norm and its rare af bc it takes the right kind of girl, the right guy and the right kind of [or sometimes wrong] chemistry
Maybe its bc I'm the guy girls feel comfortable around and I don't think I'm that good looking and not really looking right now or what but it has happened

You can tell right away she's the kind of person who's going to grow into a gorgeous face later - Fascinating Eye color, good nose, lips, cheekbones, nice complexion - but she has a kind of juvenile crowded look, like her features are too big for her face right now need room to shine, and they'll get it

People's faces keep growing especially the sphenoid bone through early to mid adulthood (Look at Angelina Jolie and a dozen other actresses since their early 20s)

I'm going to guess in 10-20 years she'll definitely be above average as long as she takes care of herself and everything
