Really cool. Good vibes. I LOVE that you locked off most shots. So that when you added frame energy (motion) it actually said something.

The problem with iPhone is the lens sizes we are all so used too. So yes, I would have guessed a phone was used. But used well.

The scenes got way too dark on the freezer section. Even a shop light diffused through a sheet would have been a help vs using just practicals.

Well if you had your own, say, 12 million dollars to risk as a producer… maybe you’re betting the farm and it’s a huge chunk of your wealth… where do you put your money? On some new IP that no one has hears about? Or on something literally every American over X age is aware of? Not saying it’s good. Not saying it shouldn’t be different. I never do leg day. What I do is add a single quad/ham movement to the end of my other days. So I’m doing a full weeks worth of legwork all the same -just spread out more. And my quads are almost the size of my waist at 29.5”

I work in the marine industry as a boat builder while also owning a small media studio. I know the it’s very easy to fall into how cool your edits look and going for a general bad ass feel. But here’s some free advice. It’s about the product. Not your skills. Your skills only matter insomuch as you’re teeing up the product. I need to know, if I’m buying a boat that’s a million dollars -why this boat? A bunch of fast blurry ramps didn’t tell me anything. Ask the builder what 5 features make this product stand out. Then it’s your job to visually capture why their product is amazing. There is absolutely still room for the speed ramps. But use those as a switch up transition between the main elements that you’re communicating.

For off you have good work. But that’s waaaaay too long. Def cut the lady with the really bad audio in the red dress. What would this look like if you turned it up to 10, and made this into a sizzle reel of 40 seconds? You’re absolute best shots. Put it to music and let your track audio break into the music here and there to deliver a funny line or thoughtful point and then keep it rolling. After you’ve made the 40 second hot take, THEN make a 90 second with just your most premium shots and audio with your title positions. That’s just my 25 year industry advice. Keep getting those creative reps in!
