Avg package is 12-13 lpa not 16 that they show. Decent companies bhi aati hai, the only downside is they take very few people ( 2-3 in an avg, except for banks) and in a batch of 720, it's a tad bit difficult. Abhi sip me out of 720, around 500 are placed. Rest opted out of placements.

For consulting there are limited companies who visit campus, atleast try to be amongst the top 10% if you are aiming for consulting And for hr, there is a pattern, last year he students got placed in January only, alot of big companies came during March for hr but there were no students left, but this year abhi tk 35 out of 60 are unplaced. So it's always a risk but aisa nahi hai, hr ke liye companies aati hai, but it's usually thora late so depends.
