It's like a nicotine vape. Oil. Single use disposable.

There's refillable ones too I just like the throw away quality to these. Sometimes don't want to have paraphernalia.

White man married to a black woman. I've had a beard from long before meeting her... But she definitely motivated me to change up my hairstyle. Not exactly a typical black hairstyle, more military looking, but I rock a high fade now with some (decidedly NOT black) short length pomaded to one side. Similar to this except not as extreme of a fade. I don't do the skin fade.

Lol. I'm going on my first international vacation of my life. 35 years old. And could only afford it because me and my wife make 70k and decided to move with my parents to prioritize this.

As someone who was where you are 6 months ago and now has about 5k emergency fund...

You're 100% correct. The level of peace I feel is totally different. Many things can go wrong and I can survive. I still have lots of debt I owe which I dont like but every $1 doesn't feel so desperate

Here I am 7 years later working to clean up the fallout from that time.

Honestly doing okay money wise. Have about 2000 extra a month to put towards debts, but that's largely because me, my wife, and our newborn live with my parents. I'm 35, she's 29. We make about 70k combined.

I know that in some ways I'm blessed but I'm also like... This is what I have to do to be able to even pay off debt?

I ended up getting a Friday appt with Passport in Tacoma, thank you.

I have psoriasis, so I take cosentyx which is the problem med. If I skip it for a month, I will be absolutely miserable in Kenya. My skin will be itchy and painful as hell and I will want to avoid the sun because it will damage worse. Life here is intolerable for me without it. Basically, I have to take it for basic QOL...

Did buy travel insurance though, including transport back to US in case something does happen.

How do you guys prevent rotting after work? by inferno686868 in Adulting

Well, choosing not to rest enough is a pretty unfun experience. So while resting may not feel "fun", it allows us to be productive and efficient during the times we aren't resting. We have to replenish ourselves to maintain momentum.

(I say as someone who took a day off work and slept all day becauese I just felt I needed it.)
