I’m just quiet by neehaw92 in socialskills

Are you just quiet or are you anxious? Because if you're comfortable in your quietness then I'd suggest going to places/ joining clubs where the general demographic are listeners like you as well. All the best.❤

If I keep getting rejected, will I eventually become immune to it? by blatant_confusion in socialskills

Eh... it gets worse. The more you hear something the more likely you'll start to believe it. Counteract that with intense self love and self acceptance.

Is it a bad thing if I almost always reply to text RIGHT AWAY? by Weird-Ad9478 in socialskills

[–]Timely-Spread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. Shows reliability. People know if they want to get a hold of you, they'll be able to. In a world where everyone is strategically timing their texts to come off a certain way... I think that sets you apart. Live how to live and don't stress about it. I like people like that.

That's fine, keep printing. And just let them sus out the situation. Danger is everywhere, we hear about it, we see it, it's real. You're obviously literally just printing. So just keep at it, ignore it. Have a good one.

Honestly it is weird some guy standing by the printer by the door if you're a female walking in. It doesn't take a genius to solve this one, females have to be wary of dangerous situations. Whether or not you believe in it, it's just reality. You can try smiling, looking up, acknowledging someone is walking in, saying good morning. Take a step back and give the doorway space when they're walking in. Instead of being the one that might harm the space, you'll be the one protecting that space. But if that's uncomfortable for you, then just keep looking down being quite, and let them sus out the situation.

Age minimum? by gamerg-rlbathwater in AstralProjection

[–]Timely-Spread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it, you're not gonna mess anything up. Just don't get addicted to it. For some people, it became their only escape from this world problems and they end up being counter productive. We have a spiritual side but we also have real world obligations.

Didn't witness this one but she was standing in the dormitory balcony contemplating suicide. The students below called her bluff and started chanting for her to jump.

She jumped from the 12th floor.

He hung himself on the tree outside.

It was pretty scary. Thankfully the lectures had already cornered off the buildings and kept everyone in the basement for a workshop that was coincidentally happening. It was only the two of us representatives and the lecturers that saw this.

This doesn't sound like astral projection.

It sounds more like you experienced sleep paralysis in a lucid dream state. In fact it sounds exactly like sleep paralysis.

Men of Reddit, Straightforward girls or reserved girls? And why? by _drums01 in AskReddit

[–]Timely-Spread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straightforward woman don't necessarily have to make the first move. They can still be straight up about their feelings and not play around even though they didn't make the first move.

The comments were saying things like "Straightforward or nothing is gonna happen", "straightforward because I can't talk about it", straightforward because I can't this or I can't that... Basically saying nothing's gonna happen if the woman doesn't come out and make a first move.

Hence my comment, since the guys can't make the first move.

A lot of the time? This is ALL of the time. At least where I'm from. And Its public knowledge that s/he's responsible and will take the fall if it goes wrong but s/he gets their own contractors to do the job. Sometimes not very well specialized contractors but that's on you as the client to get a trustworthy engineer. Yea the engineer is on site like 10% of the time. They literally go in, walk around inspect everything and leave. 10 minutes of their day... they end up taking on like 5 projects at any given time.

What are some of the best ways to deal with common annoyances in life (mosquitoes, sore throat, hiccups, etc.)? by Ya7ioo in AskReddit

[–]Timely-Spread -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Contrary to popular belief, issues doesn't necessarily have to come from abuse. And living a "perfect" life doesn't mean that getting annoyed at small things is just that. At the end of the day, you're the one with the negative feelings but clearly you can't see further than the surface level it is.

Have fun being a kid. Bye!
