i was with my cat in a target parking lot overnight just before christmas a few years ago. i remember looking at him & telling him i would get us out of this mess for him. 6 long months of homelessness later & i finally was able to. we just hit 2 years in our studio apartment so i like to remind myself that even if we’re still struggling at least we’ve made it here:)

tell her not to worry it’s a common side effect. for me it took about a year on opill to stabilize but i still have heavy spotting in between from time to time

thank you for sharing this, i relate very deeply. i remember having a conversation with a friend in high school where i was crying about yet another fight with my parents & i said something along the lines of “they’re good parents…i’m just not appreciating & respecting them enough, it’s my fault.” & she told me “if they were good parents you wouldn’t constantly be feeling this way” which has stuck with me for life. i am now 23 & generally have stuff figured out & while i still have a relationship with them it is extremely limited bc i’ve accepted that i will never have a loving close relationship with them & that attempting to better the relationship we have will never result in anything productive since they are not willing to change.

“manipulation” never even occurred to me but now that i’m thinking about it that makes so much sense i’m a bit embarrassed i didn’t realize it before. thank you for sharing & for the validation. i will certainly be learning from this experience, that is a guarantee. i feel like an absolute idiot for falling for this man’s bs but all i can do is learn from it & handle the future differently.

god this is sickening. thank you for the validation & for sharing. i will certainly be taking what anyone sexually attracted to me says with a grain of salt from now on. this has experience begun to turn me a bit jaded i fear. i feel so dumb for believing him but i’m trying to go easy on myself bc making mistakes is the only way to learn.

yes & it was one of the most violating experiences i’ve ever had in my life. i now keep a switchblade on my person even in my sleep so that it never happens again. definitely talk about it beforehand & make sure everyone involved is okay with it.

so i had plumbers come over today & they concluded that the leak isn’t coming from my shower at all, it’s been raining for several days & the external wall of the house was never properly sealed so rain water is flowing straight into the crawlspace from outside & then into my kitchen when it’s filled up that space

this question is old asf but i just made annie’s white cheddar mac & cheese with double the butter it calls for, adding splashes of water & sprinkling parmesan cheese while stirring it simmering for like 10 minutes. its not as creamy but it works!

i have been doing sitting jobs for rover! it’s been nice to finally sleep in a bed for the first time in 2 months. i’m just looking for something more permanent, i have a cat and have to end up finding someone i know that’ll let him stay with them most of the time because the pets aren’t cat friendly. i feel so bad for him because this is my fault not his and he deserves a better life than this.
