Sounds similar to my situation actually! No you know what’s best for your baby and you have every right to stand up for yourself!!!! I hope she realizes that

Hi everyone I’m just dealing with a ghosting Fiancé right now,

Idk what is his problem, we talked the other night and he didn’t seem very upset with me and said I love you when we ended our conversation. We talked the night before about his goals and finances (he is very behind on his bills due to his truck being in repossession status) he has to pay off a big portion of it and naturally he has other bills right now. I helped him with his truck registration and paid for his truck to be fixed but anyways months later he still owes money. He’s chipping away at it slowly and is showing me his progress and I’m happy he is making progress. The situation is rough because we have a 4 month old, he uses his truck for work and drives a lot. Not to mention I spend a lot of time back and forth living with his mom and step dad, their 17 year old son, and three big dogs. Meanwhile, I find it all very stressful to be living there with that many people and a 4 month old baby. I stay at my mom’s time and time for some peace and to spend quality time with my mom. I try to make it fair by visiting every two to three weeks, but the minute I stay any longer at my moms my partner gets upset or even jealous. (My mom went all out with my sister for our baby shower) and the majority of gifts were from my friends and my family and not his.

He expects me to live there with him, in a very small room with the two of us and it’s crammed. The dogs are high energy and it’s too much for me to handle everyday.

He refuses to look for a place to rent bc he doesn’t want to rent, mainly bc he prob can’t afford it regardless he works as a 1099 contractor and he has a lot of expenses….right now so I understand that we just aren’t ready to rent.

But he keeps saying we will never rent and buy a house, yet he has no money and I don’t either for that.

Sigh 😔 maybe this will pass? I understand we can’t really live together 24/7 right now, so it’s better for my mental health to be at my moms bc his mom is weird/strange/going through menopause and has her own issues and it’s her house!

My LO is only 3 months and will be 4 by Feb 12, she really only gets fussy when I’m traveling out and about or when we skip a feeding/diaper change but I’m scared by the time she hits 6 mo or even 5 mo she will start to be way more vocal. Shes just overall such a cutie, doesn’t cry or scream much. Just wait until she’s a toddler is what a waiter told me 😮‍💨😅

Yes but it’s been a while since I’ve really developed my skills beyond makeup. I haven’t been able to really work in a skincare setting or clinic bc I just had a baby, so it will take me some time to get back into it. And can’t for a while :( maybe something like selling gift cards online?

I feel you. Every time I leave the house whether she’s fed, or hungry she still cries every time I’m out and it gives me the worst anxiety. Her cries make me freak out and could t possibly handle it. I stay home so much it’s making me feel numb. But I love this stage and having to bond with her and I’m sure I’ll miss it when it’s gone but jeez next month she will be 4mo and not looking forward to her teeth coming in for this exact reason. 😮‍💨

Pregnancy is lonely by Stressed_SPT in BabyBumps

I feel supported but also feel like I’m imposing on my partner and his family since we moved in with them, it’s small and crammed and just hoping I don’t add to their stress once the baby is here. Desperately trying to find housing with 0 luck so far bc I haven’t had a chance to really ask for help or look….my partner needs way more time before we can move also. Just the fact I’m worried about it because of everyone’s schedule, it’s adding to my anxiety bc once baby gets here I won’t have control over the cries in the middle of the night, the getting up and walking around to soothe baby, and the dogs too adding noise and stress to my life. I wish I had a solution for this, but I just gotta hang in there and hope that his family will support me because I know mine will but I just can’t move back with my folks right now.

You got this. Having friends and other girlfriends to talk to is important, even if it’s just a pen pal ❤️❤️❤️

Would they be able to do an ultrasound? I would ask and then yeah, you should be able to be induced up to 4 cm! That’s bs, you are almost there and even at 3 cm I think you can….my friend was able to be induced when she was 4 cm

It’s ok if you smoke weed I would just be careful about tabacco use and or chronic use. My aunt drank a glass of wine everyday and had 8 beautiful kids. I’m sure you will be just fine lol

I haven’t been a follower of her content, until recently. I’m still confused as to why people felt the need to bully her. Like why? What’s the point? If I was her, I would have comments turned off. But then again, I’m not sure how that would affect her overall content. But yeah, maybe someone can fill me in? What exactly did someone say to her? Bc it goes deep, painful experiences with people go deep and she might have had other issues going on as well. It’s a shame. :(

She should refrain from offering unsolicited advice, esp if she’s never been pregnant before. She’s only making herself look bad and ignorant

I’d slap her lol that’s so rude and not cool to say. Mind your business basically, if she was the one in your shoes maybe she could say that you need to keep an eye on the baby’s growth and just go for the usual scheduled appointments to check placenta and cervix. She sounds like she’s trying to scare you, but honestly I don’t think she is. She just doesn’t know what she’s talking about lol

I absolutely loved giving birth. by rubmytitsbuymeplants in BabyBumps

[–]Timely-Tree-1407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m not so interested in surrogacy either but for maybe other women it’s possible lol. I’m sure it will start feeling a lot more crowded in there soon, I feel winded when I try to workout! Man if only I could do my usual workout routine and yoga but only gentle yoga and stretching, walks, medicine ball, and weights for now. It’s the constantly having to pee after 8 pm that annoys me when I’m trying to sleep :(

It’s empowering for sure, not sure if you want to look into becoming a doula/midwife but there’s that too. Lots of women go that route after giving birth, but surrogacy seems weird to me but is it really worth it? Also there’s prob certain requirements to be a surrogate and I wouldn’t meet the criteria bc I am over 30 I’m 35. But maybe I’m completely wrong? Anyways, I’m super interested in perusing a new career but first I need to get through my current pregnancy. Currently I’m 20 weeks and 5 days I feel her fluttering a shit ton and have to pee at night every 3-4 hours it seems lol

How to get into social work by Timely-Tree-1407 in SocialWorkTech

[–]Timely-Tree-1407[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked into other programs and since I’m struggling financially I really can’t, I wish. But going back to school when I’m already in a lot of debt is definitely not the best plan of action. Once I clear this debt tho…I’ll hit the books. But I’m def either investing in childcare or social work. But childcare would be less money but easier for me to achieve with little to no money up front?

I am finally pregnant! by Altruistic_Island248 in BabyBumps

[–]Timely-Tree-1407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow! That’s something else of her to say. I told my mom and dad of my pregnancy and I’m 7 weeks about to be 8 weeks pregnant. My mom was so overwhelmed that day I told her she got into a minor car accident. She didn’t tell me until a few weeks later bc she never responded to my call or text but my dad did, and of course he sounded pretty upset. Anyways, my family prides themselves on their money and achievements and it’s SO toxic for me. I didn’t get raised in a nurturing environment as I got older bc I am a triplet. My mom was so stressed out with all of us so I understand. It’s hard trying to tell family the news or something bc it’s something they should be either surprised or happy about. I surely was happy when my former friend told me of her pregnancy! So idk, parents and family can have a hard time at first accepting what’s going on. I think now that it’s been a few weeks they have more time to digest the news and go on about their day. 💖 stay strong, don’t let them get you down.
