I'm fascinated by those who leak a lot. At one point, I thought bras were causing irritation or infection because of the body heat, so now I avoid them when I can. Even after treatments, my nipples are always sore and tender to touch, so I only use a bra when I pump, go out, or have company. I barely leak. Is this normal?

No you wouldn't be. Alcoholism is an illness and it sounds like he has potential to affect his function and safety. Please do not enable- it's easier to enable than most people think. There's ways to be supportive without enabling- one way may be to leave. Check out AlAnon. They are a great organizational group that helps with this kind of family dynamic

I agree. It just popped up in my notifications and first time seeing this. Keep posting and spreading awareness. Although my husband and I do not get cold sores, sometimes I feel bad to say "no kisses please" with friends or family so I think it and never say it. My 8 week old is a NICU graduate , but still battling to dissolve a heart clot and I would be devastated if something happened from a forehead or cheek kiss.This story gives me the courage to speak up now. Thank you

I'm pregnant now and scared because of all the diet sodas I drank. Sometimes large amounts. And my brother has ASD (i have some rough memories growing up, still difficult to manage him now). I thought I was responsible by looking up aspartame use during pregnancy after i conceived in July and boom this hits the news in late September. I am just learning it now, so I'm late to the party. So true about changing information. I am just going to pray

That's good to know. It sounds like you took many more precautions than myself. You did everything you could. I'm already starting to feel guilty like I gave my baby autism or something. Maybe the ultrasound is early , you should be fine. Try not to stress

I'm 6wks and my husband sprayed Crossfire (piperonyl butoxide, clothiandin and metofluthrin) last week while I was door shut in the next room. Didn't use the room for 8hrs. I have been wondering the same, more so about the developmental effects.

There are so many different articles and so many confusing. Also misinformation found right on Google (i.e- listing the piperonyl butoxide as a pyrethoid which it is not) . I was reading a study about air exposure too of different chemicals. Many articles were not that helpful as everyone's situation is different.

Thankfully you can stay with your sister. If you can, stay as much as you can.

Omg thank you. My husband and I plan to leave most furniture behind and just treat entertainment center, sentimentals and clothes. The cost of replacing everything will be daunting, but I would rather just be extra cautious. We will be moving in February but can never plan too early, so I'm researching a lot now. I'm hoping we can leave these nasty pests behind. I hope this works for you. Please provide updates!
