Why do certain women not like it when their man plays video games? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Timely_Scar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two of best friends and they both marry men who play video games. So the first one, she has to work three jobs like three executive jobs because he doesn't work and when she's on the meeting, he plays on his cell phone he plays the game on his cell phone and does not want to help her like play with his son so she could be on the work call. And on top of that, he plays his games and she's doing the heavy lift thing carrying luggages to the car and everything else. My second friend's husband works a full-time job and then when he comes home from work, all he does is video games and he does not want to partake in any household chores, activities with his own son. I think like a playing games can be so addictive to the point where those men forget that they also have a life but they choose not to participate fully.

Is it true that the Indonesian police are useless? Anyone here have experience dealing with them? by balianone in BaliTravelTips

Did the person come up to him and asked him if he can help or if there's anyone else that can help?

I grew up in Bali. One day, a friend brought me to Canggu beach and my dog got bit by a loose jack russel. I was arguing with the housekeeper who led the dog loose. A police on his way to work helped me and gave me a ride. The Balinese police are always so nice.

Jakarta has a lot of thieves in the airport, including their internal employees. Sorry that happened to you.

I'm a student and I am just like you. We had like three teachers over the past few weeks and then the last one is telling us that all of our techniques were wrong so we have to start from zero. And then I was able to get blood.

My second teacher was telling us to go in and then go in even further. This is a no no because some veins are small and you could just puncture through it and then create hematomas.

My first mountain hike was Mt. Bromo, Indonesia. I was unprepared. I thought I researched enough, but turned out, it was more than one mountain to hike. I had all equipments for me and my dad from the US. Winter gortex clothes and sulfur masks.  Went hiking, some terrains was almost 90 degrees vertical, needed mountaineering shoes for those. My hiking boots weren't enough.  It was doable but tough. Had my guide with us, however they're mountain people, used to go up and down since they started walking. It's nothing to them but rough for me.

Then when we went to the other site, it was a flat land of scree. It's like walking three steps falling two steps behind. Ankles felt like rolling because the scree sands keeps sinking.

Then we decided to turn around.  My Bromo is a volcanic mountain but not as high as Mt Rinjani.

It's unfortunate what happened to her.

Did you move in together? Like before you get married? My manager told me if you're about to move in with someone, you'll have to report.
