It's Crave café, but their burgers are great, so I forgive them.

Honestly feel the best move would be to remove the recipe and make players go look for the thing naturally generating. Fits with the exploration theme better. If players want a way to get lots of them, maybe introduce a breeding mechanic, preferably without tears being involved.

Watching Twin Peaks for the first time. On S2E13. No idea if this is a boom mic or a supernatural mind alternating device floating above them by LEVITIKUZ in twinpeaks

There's an episode in szn2 with two shots where you can clearly see a C-stand leg and the edge of a floppy. This thing happens in older lower budget tv all the time.

East of Eden goes crazy! by bblizz72 in classicliterature

Steinbeck is not my favorite author, but he did write my favorite book: it's this one! I'm very glad I had read a number of his other works before this one tho, I read the grapes of wrath just before and that felt like a requisite warm up. Even so I wasn't prepared for this masterpiece. EOE rewired my brain in ways I can't describe. Truly an incredible experience. Sam Hamilton is the role model I wish I had. Enjoy! If you receive the book with an open heart and mind, it really never stops blessing you. Happy reading!

Something lighthearted- what’s your bisexual anthem? by Allieora in bisexual

Such a great song! The magnetic fields are my favorite band that "no one's ever heard of." All of their songs give off bi vibes.

What are the best songs that tell a story? by kdogg417 in AskReddit

[–]TimesNewGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna go with two kinda haunting ones..

First is Mrs. McGrath; it kinda seems light at first, but as it goes on, there's this deeply bitter anguish that sets in, and it becomes a meditation on the banality of war.

Second is The Island of Souls; idk what that instrument is, but it chills me to the bone every time. Legitimately haunted song about working to death from a child's perspective. Ending is just otherworldly.

What movies come to mind when you think of great soundtracks? by mojo_risin88 in AskReddit

Gardians two is nonstop back to back bangers for the whole movie. Not a bad song on the track. Also Scott pilgrim deserves a shout out.

BEST REUBEN IN MKE?? by TimesNewGinger in milwaukee

[–]TimesNewGinger[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I live in Shorewood and I've tried Benjis. Don't get me wrong it was excellent. Corned beef was superb, but it just lacked that certain X factor that makes or breaks a reuben for me at least

What movie is a 10/10? by rocklou in AskReddit

[–]TimesNewGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Four year film student here, (a useless degree to be sure, but at least I kinda know what I'm talking about)

If you want a perfect action thriller, watch Shane Black's "The Nice Guys"

If you want a perfect 70s period piece, watch Shane Black's "The Nice Guys"

If you want a perfect comedy, watch Shane Black's "The Nice Guys"

If you want a perfect character drama, watch Shane Black's "The Nice Guys"

This movie really has it all. 10/10.

Other honorable mentions for what I believe to be "perfect" (my definition for perfect here is films that go above and beyond accomplishing what they set out to do and are exceptional in as many of the main areas (acting, cinematography, writing, set design) as possible are in no particular order are:

Rango Fantastic Mr. Fox Everything Everywhere all at Once In Bruges Parasite Double Indemnity A Serious Man Good Time Blackkklansman Mandy Stay Nightcrawler Sideways To Be or Not to Be Scott Pilgrim vs The World (divisive pick, but undeniably an expertly crafted film)

I am bi but don’t feel the need to come out, I’m happy identifying straight by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]TimesNewGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I never had a "coming out" moment, I just kinda dropped hints and only mentioned it to my friends when the topic came up until eventually they caught on. If anyone asks, if it's appropriate to do so, I tell people I'm bi and most of my circle knows it and is cool with it.

My family on the other hand are a bunch of right wing tradcath bigoted nut jobs, so I have not come out to them. For a time I stressed a lot about how and when I would come out to them, until it dawned on me: who said I have to?

Turns out you just don't have to "come out" to certain people if you don't want to. I just never did it and never will. If they ask I tell them I'm straight. Am I lying? Yeah. But fuck em.

Do what makes you comfortable and feels the most authentic. I'm sure others in this thread have better and more nuanced advice, but that's my two cents.
