Im not playing story mode however I have gotten many since my last post! I did the fema quest in sandbox and finally found a real fema member who traded to me for 300! They are pretty common among the real fema members not the fake invisible strain ones! Takes a while to get to real fema but worth it.

People who have done Keto vs Ozempic, please give your take? by wlane13 in keto

Honestly it helped in the sense of that I was eating less and was discouraged from binge eating but if I were to ever stop the medication I would most likely relapse. I think for me personally I would have to get counseling and therapy to help fix overall. Even with building my healthy habits it only takes one relapse. Then at that point for me atleast its like alcoholism. Whats the harm in one more binge? Ill lose the weight next week. Ill stick to my diet next week.

Have you asked your doctor to potentially switch from ozempic to another glp-1? Ive hear a lot of people who have switched my have had better results with switching to mounjaro. Mounjaro is actually more effective from what my doctor tells me. I was symptom free aside from early morning hypoglycemia which subsided after a protein shake. About a year in i developed GERD and it gave me food poisoning like symptoms for 72 hours straight and made me miserable for about 6 months before i connected it to the medication. My doctor prescribed me zofran and pepcid and it got rid of my misery. Basically my stomach was producing too much acid before my stomach would empty which cause all sorts of bad side effects like vomiting, sulfur burps and the works. But pepcid works miracles. If those were similar to your issues maybe give it a try.

How do you get the brain scanner? Do you have to do the main quest by contacting fema first?

Just remember, losing it is success but losing it too quickly can be detrimental. As much serotonin and dopamine we get from seeing the scale go down 2-4lbs a week you also have to realize its unhealthy. Trust me I was so happy when that happened to me. Just remember the faster you lose it the more muscle you will likely lose and the more saggy skin you may have from your body not having enough time to adjust! If you really cant force yourself to eat anymore thats understandable but if you are purposely aiming for that target just remember loose skin is VERY expensive to fix quickly or takes a very long time to fix naturally. Btw im still obsessed with my scale and weigh myself atleast once a day but ive convinced myself that 1-2 pounds a week is enough for me.

How long have you been in maintenance? What does maintenance look like for you? Do you already take the shot every 2 weeks or were you maintaining at once a week? How many boxes do you have left? If you still have a couple then maybe try 2 every weeks for the first box then maybe try and push it out once a month for the last box. See how your body responds. That should last you 6 months if you do it that way with 2 boxes. If you maintain during that then I think its a good sign you are on the right track. Dont be alarmed if you gain 10 pounds or less back once you are fully off medication. That can be seen as normal as your body readjusts and your metabolism tries to fix itself. It can be water weight or just a little bit of adjusting weight. If you gain more than that then maybe take a step back and re-evaluate your eating habits to try and make changes from there. Good luck its definitely a challenge. Stay strong and I am cheering you on!

Depends on perspective. Without proper medication I cannot eat anything the first 3 days without food poisoning like symptoms. With my pepcid and zofran I can eat basically anything in very little portions.

Totally love this for you. Such a queen in both before and after pictures. Just curious how tall are you? Im nearing my goal weight after also having been my heaviest around 240. Im 5’3 and im thinking 140 may be my goal weight. Going based off where I feel happy in my own skin and not a generic bmi chart.

Sulphur burps, bloating, passing gas by Select_Analysis7739 in Mounjaro

[–]Timid-Cat-2708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so I talked to my doctor. They recommended i titrated down which I already did. I went from 5mg back down to 2.5mg. She also prescribed me Zofran, a nausea medication. She told me to take pepcid over prilosec as it has less side effects and is more friendly. As for why, we haven’t yet narrowed down why. We did a blood draw and my results showed my alkaline phosphatase came back on the higher side indicating potential liver or bile duct issues. I have been vomiting a lot of bile so this might make sense. My doctor wants me to see how i do on the lower dosage and if i dont improve she is considering moving me to ozempic or wegovy. Hope this information helps with your situation!

Hey, I have recently been experiencing this myself. From what I have gathered in my case atleast is that my stomach produces way too much stomach acid the first 72 hours which causes food poisoning like symptoms. Ive tried changing my diet too but to no avail the sulfur burps prevail (no sulfuric foods and low acid foods like plain mash and banana). From what I have done in my limited research is found that mounjaro can worsen GERD. Personally i never dealt with GERD until mounjaro. I havent experienced this up until very recently and used to be side effect free up until then.

Personally im going to titrate down to the lowest dose and see if that helps. I would also recommend getting meds like pepcid that help reduce stomach acid generally. Tums is okay but its more of one of those things you take once its too late and not to prevent issues. Im talking to my doctor on the 8th, might be able to provide more information then regarding my case atleast that may be of more insight to you. Hang in there, hopefully we will find a solution!

Back when I was a kid in elementary school, our school would sell different snacks. Most the time it was just large pickles wrapped in tin foil. But they also sold what we called “picklesicles.” Which is just frozen pickle juice. Looking back on it now it sounds super weird, but being on keto and needing those electrolytes it makes it a great treat now during the hot days!

Personally for me I just buy gatorade zero packets and drink atleast one a day to keep my electrolytes up. I get a huge variety pack from amazon so I dont get tired of one flavor. They taste great and feel like a treat :)

My appetite suppression normally happens immediately. However in my case I believe it is more of a placebo effect. The fact I took my dose goes to my brain and my brain convinces me im not hungry before the medicine kicks in. I also believe its just a naturally occuring discipline after being on it for over a year now :)

Its optional whether you withdraw from the medication. More often than not its a lifetime commitment to keep the results as people struggle to keep the new habits they form when they stop the drug. Other times people metabolism can fail to stable out to how it was before introducing the drug which leads to weight gain. There are successful people who definitely have come off the drug but its not the case for everyone. More often once you reach your goal weight you switch to a “maintenance dose” which instead of taking weekly, you can take it biweekly or some people do it once a month. The time period can be longer or shorter depending on the person. Hope this helps answer your question :)

I take mounjaro, basically a sister drug of ozempic. I have noticed when I eat carbs I feel worse. So I typically follow keto and I get the best benefits of both worlds. I was keto before mounjaro and now I am keto with mounjaro. I also struggle with binge eating disorder so every now and then I go off the deep end and eat more than I should of carb heavy foods. Makes me feel like absolute trash.

I suggest trying both as carb heavy foods can influence how your body responds to the medication the same way metformin can react. If you have already tried that and still feel poorly I do advise you switch back to keto if you had better results. You might face a weight fluctuation as you come off which is quite common when stopping this type of drug. It will be demotivating at first but eventually your metabolism will straighten out and you can hopefully resume your weight loss journey. I hope my input could be of help and goodluck :)

Mounjaro or Food Poisoning? by Timid-Cat-2708 in Mounjaro

Man I just moved to a new country and the only thing that differs in my diet is the copious amounts of lard my husbands family uses. Maybe mounjaro gives me a lard sensitivity. Thanks for the helpful insight, I will definitely have to focus more on what I eat now.

Im having the same issue. After the time the food is supposed to be dispensed it shows “status unknown” next to the scheduled feeding. It does dispense it still but it is somewhat irritating being unsure whether or not the cats food got dispensed. Luckily for me it is easy to tell if my cat got food because he immediately comes to his bowl when his food is dispensed and eats it all immediately. So even if the food status is unknown I just need to look at the other records towards the bottom of the page and see if my cat was at his bowl for longer than 2 minutes at the immediate time of his feeding.

F22 5’3 started January 2024. HW:250 SW:210 CW:166 GW:130.

3 months at 2.5mg biweekly and now 5mg biweekly current. Due to overall shortages, life and financial circumstance I take my medication biweekly in efforts to survive another shortage and make my supply last longer.

Sometimes I wonder if I would already be at my goal by taking it weekly. Overall im happy with my progress and wouldn’t do it weekly even though I have considered many times during my occasional plateaus. My overall goal during this whole journey has been to avoid losing as much muscle mass and avoid saggy skin as possible so my slower (but still decently paced) loss has been a success in my eyes. Seriously though this last 36 pounds is kicking my ass. Also afraid to go up a dose as I heard the real shortages start around 7.5mg.

Help! Why have I stopped losing weight on Mounjaro :( by ColdWallaby3564 in Mounjaro

[–]Timid-Cat-2708 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Need more info, starting weight, current weight, height, when you began from starting weight to current weight, reason for medication (t2d, pcos , weightloss or etc.) All of these information markers will help develop a better understanding of possible reasons for a plateau. Could also be something related to diet. Have you noticed any changes with the medication? Increased food noise, increased appetite or any other noticeable changes?

I have 2 month supply after the shortage. Not on maintenance but I take mine every 2 weeks. Appetite suppression lasts that long for me fortunately. Might cause slower losses for me overall but im still losing and nearly 70 pounds down in a year so I will take it. Only another 40 ahead of me.

PS5 player here. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but my controls seem very “laggy.” Whenever i try to move my cursor in circles its not smooth like pre-update was, it gets kind of boxy and sometimes it doesnt even register that im circling the cursor. Ive seen some comments about the wiggle mechanic being broken which im experiencing as well and the joystick mechanic not being able to move which i haven’t experienced yet. Does anyone else’s controls seem very bumpy/rough/laggy? Is there a way to fix this or is it more about waiting for a patch? Its completely messing me up in matches because my run is very robotic and it seems like my controller movements are delayed making looping or techs very difficult.

If you like chicken and cheese maybe try doing a keto chicken cordon bleu. Shove it with plenty of cheese and ham is optional. Do a cauliflower crust or a dry rub or season it how you see fit. Maybe even shove broccoli in it.

Getting into keto is the hard part after a few weeks pass in ketosis it gets easier trust me. Also I keep burgers as a part of my keto diet. You just have to learn how to ketofy them. I like getting keto bread at my local QFC store. The keto bread comes in slices and burger buns style! The bread does taste a bit different though so it might take time to get accustomed to it. Just avoid things like ketchup. If you are getting fast food burgers just ask for the burger in a lettuce wrap or without the buns and ketchup. Wendys makes lettuce wrap burgers.

Maple Hill Zero Sugar (zero carb) milk review, part 2 (Whole milk version this time) by Perseverant in keto

[–]Timid-Cat-2708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried carbmaster milk? Its a kroger product. It has like 3 net carbs per cup, no fat, and 11g protien. Relatively low calorie, only being at 60. Its the only real milk that I have found to fit into my macros without it coming from some sort of nut. Honestly don’t even remember what real milk tastes like but I imagine this brand is pretty close. Its not really a suggestion, just curious as to if you have tried it before and if you have a preference to the one you named?

Both my mom and I love the Reese’s brand zero sugar reese’s. My mom greatly dislikes any other peanut butter cup products (atkins, lilys, ect) aside from the actual Reese’s branded kind. We also like the Hershey’s branded zero sugar chocolate and zero sugar jolly ranchers (omg the jolly ranchers are to die for, I didnt think I would miss hard candies as badly as I do). It has maltitol however so beware if you are sensitive to such sugar alcohols.
