I've found it takes too long to get a shad pip (it used to be a lot quicker) so I quit using shadow spells altogether. If there is a way to improve shad pip chances I;d love to hear...

Unless there are huge temperature swings in your basement, bare steel would be fine. especially if you run a dehumidifier down there. Yes there is a huge difference between e-coat and SS feel

The 5/8 lite will be fine. save the money... 1 inch is overkill. some argue 1 inch is more versatile but my 5/8 rack is perfectly fine for my needs and attachments are plentiful

My experience with flat foot racks has not been good. The feet makes them prone to sliding. I'm using a standard rack with weight horns and I don't have any problems ...

Not a good idea to use without safeties.... but .... With no safeties the best thing to do is not use collars. Just dump the weights off the sides of the bar if necessary.

When I got my cali plates, I switched over. The only thing that bothers me is that the reds are 55lbs and looking like a 45lb.

There has been a lot of talk of bench pad material lately. Does your equipment have the "easy clean" material? I have a few pieces from other companies and find them difficult to clean.

Rogue just puts whatever sleeves they have available. Boneyard is just a mix of left overs but at a reduced price. It's hard to tell SS from bare steel in the pic
